1. Monmouth Evil Monkeys V 5. San Diego Lighting. The Monkeys fought for a tough win over a solid Compton Squad. Down 17-3 at the half as a result of some ugly Int's that the Vikings brought back to the house, The Evil Monkeys got there offense on track in the 2nd half and their D held the Vikings to 72 yards over the final 30 minutes. Merlin Olson went off with 4 huge sacks and a key forced fumble by the Monmouth Punt coverage squad sealed the deal.

The Lighting picked up a big win over the struggling Hedgehogs led by their outstanding Special teams unit. 2 kickoffs returned for td's as well as a forced fumble on a punt that led to a FG were huge plays in the game. The Lighting needed the boost from specials because their O was a little sloppy with 4 turnovers. The offense did have it's bright spots being able to move the ball on the ground and some solid plays in the passing game while pitching a shutout against the Hedgehogs passrush. The D chipped in forcing 3 turnovers of their own.

Evil Monkeys win 44-31

2. Washington Wolfpack V 8. Chicago Hedgehogs. The Packs running game was going fore speed in leading them to a win over Parma last time out. Street and Partlow both went over 100 yards on 5+ YPC efforts. The passing game was a bit shaky getting sacked 3 times and throwing 2 picks, but Perez had enough bright spots to keep the pressure off of he HBs. A few defensive lapses that allowed big Parma gains made the final stats look a lot closer than the game actually was.

The Hogs have hit the skids hard. Losing for the 3rd straight time, this one to the Lightning. Fumbles and blown special teams coverage were the killers in this one. Koziol had another huge game, hitting on 39 passes for 360 yards and 3 TDs but the lack of running game mixed in with the turnovers killed the Hogs chances of breaking their fall.

WW wins 45-34

3. Compton Vikings V 7. Texas Roughnecks. The Vikings put up a hell of a fight but fell short in their bid to beat Monmouth. A strong defensive first half with 2 Interceptions being returned to the house set Compton up with a 14 point half time lead. Their offense couldn't move the ball in the 2nd half and their D was unable to stop the Evil Monkeys comeback.

The Roughnecks and the TICK picked up their 3rd straight blow out win. Tick went for nearly 400 yards in an explosive effort. With everyone focusing on the running attack the Roughnecks passing game was able to make big plays all over the field. Defensively the Texas squad looked shaky allowing over 550 yards BUT they were able to force 4 turnovers to offset their poor effort.

CV wins 44-41

4. Honolulu Hurricane Warriors V 15. Dallas Vaqueros. The Warriors pulled had a real test against the Navs but were able to hold on for a nice 7 point win. The Cannes D used a bend but don't break game plan and it worked perfectly holding Lincoln to only 1 TD. The Wangs used a nice mix of Passing and a few big Kenton Addai runs to get all the points they needed.

Dallas got crushed yet again to drop to 0-12 this season, to drop their all-time USA PRO record to an amazingly bad 9-51. OUCH

HHW wins 68-10

6. Minnesota Marauders V 11. Parma Burglars. The Marauders bounced back from a tough loss with an Easy bye week win over Dallas. Julian Krist looked solid and their ground game was explosive once again. Defensively they totally dominated, but it was Dallas.

Parma was outscored 27-3 in the second quarter and was never able to bounce back against the Pack. While they success moving the ball in spurts turnovers ( to ints brought back for TD's) and the inability to control either phase of the Pack attack led to another L.

MM wins 41-21

9. Lincoln Navigators V 14. Bourbon Street Bullies. The Navs played a tough game but lost for the 8th time this year. Jason Shock had a decent day running the ball but their inabilty to throw the ball down the field killed them against the Cannes. On the Defensive side of the ball they were solid stopping the Warriors backs except for a few big plays.

BSB has fallen father than I would have thought possible in one season. The perinial USA PRO playoff team allowed NY-CA to pick up their first ever USA PRO win. It sucks to see such a good group of agents have suck a hard time.

Navs win 44-28

10. South Bay Spartans V 12 Las Vegas Freebirds. The Spartans played the gutted Longhorns, whatever.

LVF got destroyed by the Roughnecks offense. They Tick killed them on the ground and the Roughnecks air attack looked unstoppable against the Birds D. Las Vegas' O didn't help the cause turning the ball over 4 times in the game.

SBS wins 28-27

14. NY-CA Ground Pounders V 16. Spicewood Longhorns. Nice job by NY-CA picking up their first ever win in the Pros. Smooth Operator had a huge day running the ball to balance out their anemic passing game and they were able to kick a last second field goal to pick up the upset.
