goldie's season 9 elite cap 21 final games:

2 brackets of 16 teams

single elimination

brackets were created by me ranking teams from 1-35, dropping the 3 outliers (1 ineligible team and the 2 bottom teams), and then dividing it up so that the #1 overall team gets the 2nd best #2 team, but the best #3 team, and so on.

failure to schedule a scrimmage within 3 days of it being assigned will result in possible forfieture of the game. always make sure you have an open scrimmage slot, ALWAYS.

prizes:

first place - $15
second place - $10
third place - $5
tournament mvp - $5

i reserve the right to remove any team found not to be playing by the rules. i have allowed one or two teams that are not in 21 capped leagues but have teams that should be 21 capped. if any team is found to be violating the agreement made with them, they will forfeit their game and their standing in the tournament.

I'm just waiting on the owner of Rapa. Trying to see if just wants to use Basic AI for this one since we'll most likely see each other again in a couple weeks.

I'm just the OC for Rapa, so I can't schedule the friendly, but I agree that we don't want to have a second meeting near the end of the league season... I wouldn't trust myself or you to use a basic Ai - our two season record stands at 1 - 1 and I really want to break the tie! Thoughts on how to complete this tourney?

I say we call it a tie, and we can become co-champions. After speaking with my Coordinators about it, they were extremely against having to play Rapa so close to the playoffs. So I'll be willing to concede if you guys are too.

..or you can have Rapa play against us. If we win or lose with less points than you, you're the winners!

in the chance that rapa and rok play each other in the playoffs, i will call the winner of that the winner of the tournament. if not, i will expect a scrimmage offer to be sent immediatly once it has been concluded that rapa and rok will not play each other in the playoffs.

i am disappointed in the amount of times that ive had to bend over backwards to make this work for one team. i hope you dont pull this kind of stuff in other tournaments in the future because perhaps they wont be as forgiving to a fault as i am. you signed up for this tournament knowing that several other bbb1 alpha teams were involved, perhaps next time just sit it out?

To my defense, I wasn't asking you to bend over backwards. I was politely forfeiting our games to keep my team's best interest at heart. Yes, these tourney's are nice, but I beleive the main goal for any team is to win a league championship. Who knew that this tourney final was going to come down to a heated rivalry between Rapa & SoR?

It's stupid to play each other goldie! Playoffs are next week and there is no benefit one way or another playing you guys. We only care about the League Title. We do not care about tournaments at this time. So I'm behind our owner 1000% on this decision. Good luck and you can declare yourself as the winner ....we don't care.
