I'm really excited for this game. Seems like they have a lot of people that know they are doing.

I'm pretty excited about the ability to actually call your plays on a down by down basis instead of just entering percentages and would allow you to adapt and react to what a defense is doing.

Before coming here, I worked at Visual Concepts over on the left coast mostly as producer and designer of the 2K football games starting with NFL 2K3 for the Microsoft Xbox and PlayStation 2. I was mainly the playbook monkey for the first game, which consisted of taking the data from our NFL scout who built the plays for all 32 NFL teams and putting them into the game’s play editor and making them work in the actual game. Over the years my job grew in scope and I pretty much ran things on the gameplay side with my cohort Abe Navarro on ESPN NFL 2K5 (the game I’m most proud of), All Pro Football 2K8 and NHL 2K9.

Prior to landing the development job at VC, I was a journalist at IGN.com for the company’s PlayStation and PlayStation 2 channels where I specialized in sports and RPG coverage, but played and reported on everything imaginable from Madden to Final Fantasy to whatever Mary-Kate and Ashley game I thought it’d be fun to do an obnoxiously large and humorous feature on. I played through to completion more than 300 videogames while working for IGN.

At least this guy has a good background in simulated football games. Sounds promising.

Sounds like Bort is quite possibly screwed. Just speaking for myself, I'm one good alternative to GLB away from leaving it for good.

Haha these are the guys I was suggesting Bort hire to help him. Didn't know they had a game of their own

I'll probably play both - Quick Hit won't let you build your own players. I really like that aspect about GLB.

On Bort's Paycheck now. You better say good things! But I actually agree with you. I don't have time to develop a team and play in franchise mode. Owning a team has been the most frustrating thing ever to me. I'd rather just help out a little bit with some opinions and build a player that does good like on GLB. Just my thoughts.
