Probably taking agil to 68 next followed by vis to 61 but should I take speed higher to 74? I want this player to be maxed out around lvl 50+

I see no good reason not to push speed that high.

Your corner is decent. Work on his vis/con.

my corners are just like yours but only higher levels and a little better. One corner has 15 punt returns for touchdowns and the other has 8 this season. lol thats just this season.

So keep working your vis/con and get your agility to mid 70's and your guy will be a monster like my 2 players.

I'm not building him to be a return man, he will only be playing on defense. I'm wondering if he needs 74 speed/agility for pass defense.

would it be alright to put them to 68 first, cap the others you want capped, then work on it to 74 if you still want it?

my cb is at 66/61 (working on going to 68/68) and i'm quite happy with what he's doing so far.
