I've heard a few differing opinions as to how the SPs from the first season should be spent, so I've come here to ask for some advice.

What will result in the most successful QB:
-Getting throwing to the third cap at 68 before putting any sps into strength or vision
-Getting throwing to the second cap at 60 before putting points into strength or vision
-Hit the first cap in throwing, vision and strength before raising anything to the second cap

Thanks.

Imo i would 3 cap throwing then 2 cap vision then 2 cap confidence then 1 cap strength.

Depends on when you want him to be successful. Imo it takes all three attributes (really 4, if you include confidence which is basically as essential) to create a good QB.
So if you want him to be successful from the get go (probably second season) you'd want to raise throwing to 48, put equipment there, then raise vision and strength to 48, then confidence, and make sure you train stamina up in the meantime. Then agi/speed trained at some point.
If you want him to be successful later, you'd build throwing to 68 or even 77/8 before doing anything else.

Just be careful that you train strength/throwing first because it can't be trained with anything else nearly as valuable, while vision can be trained with confidence.

Long term get throwing to 68 first, then strength to 68 then vision to 68 then confidence to 68

So basically, there is no clear choice as to how to start a build...

apples or oranges. Just do whatever you prefer. Some like strength, some like vision

Just started a new one, gonna go off the beaten Path and go

3cap Strength first
then 3cap Confidence 2nd

All the while training throwing.

Will be a lot like Sean Joc, except less vision and more confidence, pretty much...

I'm pretty pissed at vision right now, just got it up to 80 on my QB, and he suddenly can't find an open guy or make a good throw....vision is crap, i don't care what everyone is saying

I think 68 vision works good, decision making is determined alot by the individual tactics and gameplan so vision can only help so much. If Sean had more throwing he would be much better.

I have slow build going that will be 90 throwing 90 strength and 70 vision. I think that is the a good balance. Then confidence to 68 eventually of course

The only truly clear advice that can be given is:
1. Build to caps
2. Train on intense
3. Regarding #3, make sure you'll have two stats to train last, not one... Don't screw yourself
4. Throwing>All
5. QBs need more confidence than any other position.
