This is my first DT and i was wanting to get some advise. I think i have a good start but once again i am not sure. Base strength without equiptment is 75

Strength:86.06Blocking:13.6
Speed:28.6Tackling:34.06
Agility:52.06Throwing:9
Jumping:8Catching:8
Stamina:25.6Carrying:8
Vision:17.6Kicking:8
Confidence:17.6Punting:8

Pass Rusher Abilities 12130 Run Stuffer Abilities 22000

Good so far. I'd triple cap agility at least, then do more tackling. After that you'll need to push vision and speed, so train vis/con or spd/sta.

Thank you for the advise. I have been training vis/con but i am thinking of switching to spd/sta. How much effect doing tackling have for a DT that does not get that many?

imo it will help him get more. I would triple cap agility while training spd/tck and spd/sta, then cap tackling, then 2nd cap speed while training vis/cnf.

OK thank you, but with the change to vision, shouldn't i make that a priorory to try and get off the line quicker, or is that basically used for DE?

Long term(2 - 4 seasons): Your priority should be getting your primaries as high as you're going to take them.
Short Term (season or 2): Yeah vision will probably make him better short term.

DTs have three primaries: Str/Agi/Tck. That's what you should be working on right now.
