It seems like everyone is building the same NT build now. I know that the d-line has been nerfed to hell, but it seems like it's strength or bust nowadays.

what are you talking about. There are quite a few of us in here with fairly to highly successful pass rushing d.t's.

Matter of fact this season my dude was playing NT once on a play and beat a level 56 center for a sack.

he mainly plays D.T.

he has 82 str 70 speed and 101 agility with 10 shed blocks and 4 tunnel vision.

Everyone's building NTs? Since when? I always try to find a new NT so that I can retire my crap build, never can.

You can have mine next season. He can play full time NT if you open your mind.

No, don't get me wrong. There are alot of high level pass-rushing DT's out there. But most of the newer/low level DT's I've been seeing have been predominantly NT type builds to "fat boy shuffle" with super strength centers and guards. Kinda like the Baltimore Ravens super bowl team. 750lbs of ass in the middle so the LB's can flow.

I'm building a lower level pass rusher DT now, but I build differently than a lot. I get strength up to 68 first because of training choices/progression. I then take agility all the way to 80, followed by speed.

Just now getting into shed (@5), raw attributes are 85 str, 76 agi, 74 speed. The plan's to max shed and strong base, I need to get vision up also but I'm being impatient. Maybe I'll nix strong base.

rage and omg, how are you handling the equipment splits? All agility? All speed? 50/50? anything in strength? I'm encouraged that the two of you have been successful in getting some sacks this season.

why do they have to decide now? They will probably lean heavy on agility and adjust if they need to.

I'm split on speed/agility, so it ends up being 86str/82spd/90agi. He's still running level 24 equip too, so there's about 4 to speed and 2 to agility that can be had, 6 speed and 3 agility after level 48.

all agility for the pure pass rusher. 2:1 agility:strength for my hybrids.
