Anybody tried this? I have a clear #1 and #2 HB, and want them to get the vast majority of the reps in our next game. Should I take the #3 HB out, or leave him in. If anyone has ever done the 98/99 thing with three players at 1 position, how did the play counts work out?

I do this on one of my teams with 3 RBs, and it's perfect. last game they got 30-35-20 and the previous game they got 34-28-16.
I've put the 3rd one to block on kickoffs and punts too, so now they'll all get 30+ snaps next game.

Back to your question, it works well

Any ideas how I could set it up so that the #1 and 2 share the majority of the snaps, while still getting the number 3 a few? I'm not looking for equal time for them....I'd like it to be like 45%-45%-10%

I get equal snaps for both my HBs by utilizing the RB1 and RB2 custom slots. So I'm guessing if you put the #1 and #2 in those spots seperately and #3 on both parts playing back up, this might get what you want.

Yeah. With careful manipulation of the AI, that can definitely work.

The easy solution is to do as Zeromus said. Just put your 3rd stringer on ST to use up some of his energy.

Using up energy is the best way to keep a player off the field.

98/99 for a split rotation, but the backup on ST, will usually get the starter 70% of the plays.
I'd imagine it would work well here as well with 3, you just would get the starter a LITTLE bit more plays

Thats not perfect, 1 back is getting 15 more plays than the other

92/96 or 92/95 will get them within 3 plays of each other

this works as I've did it

but our HB 3 is also a returner so he doesnt get 1/3 of the carries
