Take it easy next time man. Light Weights, low reps.

Or............if you are a balls out type of guy like myself and have to overdo everything in life then........

Buy this stuff

Dark Matter
by MHP
Blue Raspberry

Make sure you follow directions to a tee, but it works for sure. You can lift all you want and not get sore. Unless you go crazy.
When you drink it, it is thick and purple and looks like sludge.

Give your muscles a day or 2 to heal then get back to weightlifting.

that stuff works, but it's better to just stretch appropriately and ramp up slowly.

just came up to check forums from AAA, go for a run to help get the lactic acid out of your muscles and stretch well before and after each workout. Drink lots of water and feel free to lift every day (i would recommend 4 or 5 days a week; lift monday, tuesday, thursday, friday, weekends off, make wed a cardio day or take it off) but try and work out different muscle groups each day e.g. monday- chest, bies and tries, tuesday- shoulders and back.... But def some jogging and stretching before each workout will get the soreness out.

Also I do not recommend crazy drinks like dark matter unless you are really trying to work out hard. A simple low cal protein drink would do well ask someone at GNC they will help you.

I don't think any of us really pay attention to GLB anymore, but I'm bored so I checked these forums for the first time this season.

First, GNC is the devil, they get commission based on selling you certain brands of products and they generally don't have much knowledge so if you don't know exactly what you need, I wouldn't go there.

Kenyon,

Check out bodybuilding.com and the forums. There's a sticky in the Workout Routine forum that will lay out a basics pretty much for you and all you need to do is a choose a particular program. Personally for real basic not looking to be super detailed plans I'm a huge fan of 5x5 or a push/pull routine, some agree some don't but they can both be found with a simple search. (forums are down right now for an upgrade, but once they are) As for what you need to drink/take. Keep it simple a good multivitamin and whey protein, that's all you need to start, not all these crazy/intense drinks people will try to pawn off on you.
