i will be slow building him. i'm gonna try and stay in the d leagues for my first 2 seasons. (plan on making my HB in a day or two and hoping he'll be lvl 6-7 by season end)
now since i'm going to be on a d league where it doesn't really matter, should i train speed/agility first till i can first cap speed, then switch to strength/carrying while i 1st cap agility, or should i train str/carry first till i can 1st cap str, then switch to training speed/agility and 2nd or 3rd cap str before i move on to capping other stuff? I'm making a Power Back btw. also when should i start adding to SA's??

a power back. i know strength and carrying is what ill want high, but mainly i'm wondering whats best way to start em. with the training combos it seems like i'd get more out of them if i went spd/agi till i could softcap speed. then switch to str/carry while i soft cap agility. then after spd/agi are 1st cap'd i'd cap str to 2nd or 3rd maybe even 4th cap before going on to capping carry. really i'm just wondering if its a big deal to pump str up right away.

edit: ill be slow building him in the D Leagues for his first 1 1/2 - 2 seasons.

Your plan is fine for a combo back (or for a powerback you want to be more competitive in the mid-levels.) If your aim is to be as competitive as possible at higher levels, you want to focus on strength (or perhaps carrying for something more experimental) first and get it as high as you want to spend SPs on it.

well if i pump up str first, theres not a whole lot of combos for intense training with carrying. wouldn't the extra length of 1st capping spd and agi be good for the str/carry train combo. would give it time to get base SP up some.

Carrying/Confidence is a great choice.

In any case, the amount you gain from the auto-level gains above and beyond your strength caps exceeds the amount you'd get from training strength for an extended period. And you'll still be getting those great training rates on other necessary attributes. Train Str or Str/Carry until you can cap Strength. Then cap Strength and train Speed/Agility while bringing Strength to your desired final cap. There are other approaches, but that one will give you a pretty solid base.

ok. thats what i originally planned on doing in the first place. just thought of that other way and wondered if it'd be any good.
