Since I didn't get a power ranks up this week I figured I would try to predict some games with a preview. Games are ordered from least anticipated to most anticipated.
8. Kalamazoo Coyotes vs. Richey Royals
Preview: Gutted Game
Prediction: Richey 255 Kalamazoo 0
7. Alpine Golfers vs. CCCC
Preview: Gutted Game
Prediction: Alpine 248 CCCC 0
6.. ***OFG*** vs. Pittsburgh steel
Preview: The Steel are coming off a huge upset over the Washington Bullets. ***OFG*** looks to stretch their win streak to 4 games. They whipped the Woodys ass last week 34-16. Both teams love to air it out, but ***OFG*** has a better defense.
Prediction: ***OFG*** 48 Pittsburgh Steel 23
5. Over The Rhine Red Dots vs. Columbus Woodys
Preview: OTR somehow managed to lose by 55 points to the Demon Lions last week. The Woodys lost last week 34-16 and are off to a terrible start this season, starting 1-4. Woodys have in house problems with a WR demanding a trade. OTR brings in a new offensive coordinator in SteelersInsider. Word around town is SI is good, but chokes in the playoffs. Maybe he should have coached for the Wolfpack? Perfect fit no?
Prediction: OTR 48 Woodys 24
4. Las Vegas Gamblers vs. Carolina Hammer
Preview: The Hammer have come back down to earth a little bit after starting the season 2-0. They still can play some damn good defense, but have trouble putting points on the board. They lost a heart breaker last week with Alpine scoring a touchdown for the win with 49 seconds to go in the game. After a hot 3-0 start the Gamblers are on a 2 game losing streak. Those losses came by the hands of the Royals and Maulers. I look for the Gamblers to take a less aggressive approach on defense and run all day with Copeland.
Prediction: Las Vegas 38 Carolina 17
3. Indianapolis Gurupies vs. Green Bay Maulers
Preview: Maulers are stil undefeated on the season with a 5-0 record. They are a turnover machine as everyone knows. They already knocked off 3 of the top contenders: OTR, Shockers, and Gamblers with relative ease. The Gurupies are a surprising 3-2. Their defense has played well of late allowing 16 points a game in their last 2.
Prediction: Green Bay: 53 Indianapolis: 27
2. Washington Bullets vs. Northwest Arkansas Naturals
Preview: NAN is 4-1 on the season with a current win streak of 3 games. They might have a little luck on their side right now with 3 of their wins by a combined 12 points. With that said they are the best passing team in the league. Nobody has been able to stop them. The Bullets had a confusing loss last week losing to the Pittsburgh Steel 42-27. They currently sit a 3-2 on the season.
Prediction: Washington: 49 NAN 45
1. Cincinnati Shockers vs. Detroit Demon Lions
Preview: The Demon Lions silenced their critics last week with a 72-17 shellacking of the Red Dots of Over the Rhine. Hal 9000 Rb for the Lions has been pretty damn good this season. He has eclipsed the 100 yard rushing mark in every game this season. Shocker are led by running back Jacob Orangeblood who is averaging over 10 YPC on the season. Orangeblood is an early favorite for Eastern Conference MVP
Cincinnati Shockers 38 Detroit Demon Lions 28
