Just wondering. I had a DT that did well last year and since then the team has switched to a 3-4 and he has been moved to LDE. Is there a out of position decrease on attributes or are the DE's still basically as a whole, not very successful.
Forum > Goal Line Blitz > Anyone having problems with the DE's still?

Uh, wat
Was there ever only an isolated decrease to an isolated attribute on the OOP?

Although hell if I know for sure because of the bloody cloak and dagger nature of information on GLB, it seems to be a percent based penalty across the board. It's reportedly a "small" penalty, but by small I think I've seen something like 5% thrown around, so it's still pretty significant for higher level players.

Although tbh I still believe the OOP penalty should be purely Vision/Confidence based.

I was actually wondering if it was still bugged for everyone myself. Despite the lack of any evidence to support a fix, I was kind of freaked out by the lack of complaints about pass rushing on this forum and in the bugs and suggestions forums as well. I guess everyone has just gone complacent.
To the OP - putting a DT at DE will decrease his production because of the OOP penalty, and because he is facing OTs rather than Gs; who are built better to stop pass rushing.

What gets me is Bort avoids the DE threads like the swine flu. I check his posts from time to time to see if he's made some comment on them but theres nothing.

Think DEs are bad, you should see blitzing ROLBs...
Somehow OTs can block both the DE and the LB most of the time. If your LB is lucky he'll get a hurry.

This. My ROLB isn't having success so far this year either.

DTs @ DE did not go very well imo.
