Damn 4-4 last week 20-11 for the year

1. Monmouth Evil Monkeys V 9 Parma Burglars. The Evil Monkeys O continued to roll. This time the went with a heavy run based attack with E.D. and Zonk both going for over 230 yards. The O line was big with 4 guys going for Double digit pancakes. Defensively they did give up over 300 yards but it took Dallas 52 attempts to do it.

Parma came back down to earth after their easy one over the gutted Longhorns. The Hedgehogs exposed the Burglars soft secondary throwing for 500+. Take away one big run and the new Pass Only Burglar O would have had 0 yards on 7 carries for the game.

Evil Monkeys win 54-24

2. Chicago Hedgehogs V 16. Spicewood Longhorns. The Hogs air attack crushed Parma. Despite being hurried 14 times on 75 throws Koziol threw for 526 yards and 4 tds. The Hogs D totally shut down the Burglars running game and forced three turnovers.

3. Washington Wolfpack V 4. Minnesota Marauders. Fresh off of their Bye week win over the Longhorns the Pack gets a real test in the Marauders. WW still has some issues but they are one of the most talented teams in all of GLB. Look for them to try to control the ball with their accurate short passing game and power/speed running combo.

Galk's crew bounced back from their first L of season 9 with a nice win over the Lightining. The Marauders mixed in a nice dose running with a very effective Julian Krist led air assault to roll up 557 yards. Their special teams held THE HAMMER in check and this led to an easy win.

MM wins 42-40

5. San Diego Lighting V 8 Honolulu Hurricane Warriors. The Lightning D looked very soft against the Maruaders O. SDL couldn't stop anything that Minnesota tried. Their Own Offense struggled for the most part only getting off 51 plays against the Marauder Ball control O. When the special teams are clicking SDL becomes an average team.

HHW Played their second straight game where both teams scored in the teens. The problem is they lost this one. Stuart Wang looked mediocre throwing for 2 picks and getting sacked twice. The HHW D was outstanding holding Compton to 224, but key turnovers and the inability to convert a late Viking turnover killed their chance of a W.

SDL wins 24-21

6. Compton Vikings V 13. Bourbon Street Bullies. The Vikings hung on to beat HHW the last time out. They gave the Warriors a shot near the end but their D stepped up to seal the Deal. The Vikings need to get their O untracked or they could be in for some problems.

BSB mixed a highly accurate short passing game with TOTALLY NO running game and the result was a lousy offensive effort. They completed 75% of their 33 throws yet the team only had 287 in total O for the game. Defensively LVF was able to pick them apart passing the ball.

CV wins 31-24

7. Texas Roughnecks V 15 Dallas Vaqueros. The Roughnecks pulled off a major upset and sent a wake up call to the rest of USA PRO that they are not a pushover. Knocking off the Underperforming in season 9 Navs. Texas rode another huge game from THE TICK along with 3 big turnovers to pick up a solid W.

Dallas plain out sucks. They can't play D and they can't move the ball consistently

Roughnecks win 56-17

10. South Bay Spartans V 12 Lincoln Navigators. The Spartans introduced Mr. Smith to NY-CA and it was not a pleasant meeting for the the new guys. Smith was back to his usually Kick ass ways putting up 214 and 4 tds. Defensively the Spartans secondary held NY-CA to under 40% passing
