Eastern Conference
Hungarian Warriors vs. Covington Black Knights

Hungarian Warriors have a pretty solid team coming into this match-up http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1012&team2=974 and will be yet again another test for the Black Knights, but I think that the Knights RB Drew Romine may be just a little too much for the Warriors D. Romine is averaging 233.7 yds a game and has yet to fumble the rock once this season!

prediction for the game.... Knights by 21

Western Conference
Gotham Crusaders vs. Astoria Freedom Yoaches

The Crusaders are off to a rough start this season being 1-2 losing to two tough teams in the B.C. Assassins and the mighty Covington Black Knights..... They are facing Astroia Freedom Yoaches at home where the match-up looks pretty even http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=504&team2=1045 but I think the factor in this game will be the Crusaders passing game... Pocket Poser is doing pretty good this season with 8 TD's and only 1 Int and an average of 262yds a game! Poser has been hurried 11 times this season so far with only ONE sack, the O-line needs to keep up the good work on the sack numbers to beat Yoaches! Yoaches will put up a damn good fight, but fall in the end.

Prediction.... The Crusaders Cruise by 10....

Yeah Taft, your forum for BBB7 is dead... Any who, I had sometime today so I figured I would do a general write up for the two most intriguing games. Nothing too in depth, but I was gonna try to do it maybe every week with closer results maybe...

Just wondering how the matchup between the pre-season #1 Lowcountry Gators vs the pre-season #2 Fort Worth Warriors wasn't the Game of the week????

No complaints really....just curious about the reasoning behind the choice. As always, thanks for the write up. I really enjoy it. I was just disappointed we didn't make it into the discussion.

because it was a preseason ranking system done by one guy.... (nothing against, he did good)

Also for the Black Knights have been looking great so far and if I was in the East I would be a bit worried to play.... I was wondering if the Warriors were going to be the first team to put a stop to their running game.

Then in the West, The Crusaders have had a rough start to the season and I believe this was a must win for them knowing that they are a better team than their record states.... I thought that Freedom Yoaches were a better team than played on the field and figured it would have been MUCH closer!

My GOTW are my opinion and some may agree with my point of view and those who don't... oh well

Good question none the less.

That was my bad. I screwed up with the energy tactics and my boy's on D we're seriously dragging ass the second half. Turned into a big ol' pancake fest. Wasn't pretty. Hats off to them, they really took it to us today. Managed to go into the locker room at half time tied up.....but then.....Yikes! Like I said it wasn't pretty.

I can't disagree with you . When I was doing pre-season scouting, I thought Covington would be the team to beat in the East.

I'm curious to see how the Fort Worth vs. Hungarian game turns out. You could throw a blanket over teams 3 through 6 or 7 in the east.

Ya it was a close game til half time and then it seems Richard Runabaout found his second wind for us

Whats really sad is that he only had to break 2 tackles to get all of those numbers. He was a huge problem for us as was your O-Line.

Don't get mistaken you guys have a good team. I still think we're not getting something right as we're still not playing to our true potential.... I can't put my finger on it... we're starting to win but not in a fashion that is conducive to our players strengths... does that make any sense?
