GLB Pro World Champions, West Scranton Invaders (Oceania), will make their first title defense against the Las Vegas Gamblers (USA) this Sunday at 21:00 game time.

WSI earned the title by winning the first Tournament of Champions, held in Season 8, which was a tournament of the 8 regional league champions.

The World Champion has an opportunity to choose who they face, but the match must be approved by the Tournaments Board. At times, matches could be forced. For example, the winner of this year's TOC ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=2495291 ) will earn an automatic title shot.

GG hazy. Very frustrating to get beat by Big Heart the day before the Big Heart nerf. Of course, the game's first 2.75 quarters also look different if your team has VAs other than BH, but it was still frustrating as hell to watch.

we don't have one player with a point in Big Heart. We're not behind by 14 enough to warrant using it.

That's why we didn't either. Sorry, my memory was a bit, umm, hazy, on that thread from US Pro. I remembered you saying the exact opposite of what you actually said.

It was a hell of a coincidence, though, that everything turned on a dime like that as soon as y'all got down by 14+. I can tell you that our AI doesn't change until we get way more ahead than that. One of those things, I guess.

last season we had a bunch of Big Heart - but when we reset this season we removed it for the aforementioned reasons.
