A new team enters the top 5 this week, and the playoff picture begins to come into focus with top teams dominating and bubble teams showing why they are in that position. There are only 3 games left for the contenders to separate themselves from the pack and either earn a playoff spot or grab a home game.

#1 – Farkistan Squirrels (13-0, Rank 78.75)

Farkistan gave up their 1st TD of the season, is there a chink in the armor of the mighty squirrels, has someone finally found a way to knock these guys off their perch, will this team descend into chaos due to this let down, or have we just run out of ways to say they are the best team in the league and are looking for filler. Next up is a tough Vikings squad riding a 6 game win streak. (Last week #1, +0)

#2 – Gary Gangstaz (12-1, Rank 72.27)

Gary continues to dominate their competition in the East with a win over the Bengals. Another lower level team is up with Las Vegas this week. (Last week #2, +0)

#3 – Niagara Rapids (12-1, Rank 71.44)

Charlotte may have put up more of a fight than expected, but Niagara posted yet another solid win to stay in contention for home field in the playoffs. Next up is a Shamrocker team coming off their first win. (Last week #3, +0)

#4 – Austin Alcoholics (11-2, 60.00)

The Alcoholics vanquished the Breakers to earn a spot in the top 5 and solifify their hold on a home playoff game in a tightly contested match-up. Austin now faces a winless Aztec squad as they prepare for the playoffs. (Last Week #6, +2)

#5 - The State of Texas Domination (10-3, 58.22)

The State of Texas rebounded this week by taking down the Thudercats and retained their position in the top 5. Next up is a tough Lycan’s team looking to keep their playoff hopes alive. (Last week #5, +0)

Great job on the rankings. Don't expect the Austin Alcoholics to be falling out of the top 5 anytime soon.
