nickel balance, medium zone coverage

the corner keeps stopping and is getting burned every time. is there a better play to keep the corner on the WR? this happened 6-7 times in this game.

I believe the CB is doing a flat zone and then starts moving back up. I would try man coverage instead or a custom play that gives the CB a zone that cuts off that route.

Try man coverage an set it to medium,the corner should back peddle with the wr in front of him,then make a play on the ball.

CB is definately in a flat zone. That zone coverage is basically for pitches to the outside and screen passes and thats it.
