This is getting pretty amusing. How many of these do you ever see watching football on Friday night, Saturdays, or on Sunday? I'm not complaining because we put a couple on the ground today because's obviously across the board. Just seems incredibly out of control right now. This season's sim is so close to being one of the better ones I can remember. The only two things imo that are a little crazy are the kicking game issue and Big Heart.

Here is Week 1 in USA Pro alone -

Kickoff by Viktor Salerno, 68 yd, fielded by Blandon Clemmons[forced fumble: Fred Smith], fumbled , recovered by Steven McGee, PAT made by Viktor Salerno [TD] (32 yd return)

Kickoff by Tiny McTinklepants, 63 yd, fielded by I Love Porn [missed tackle: Tornado Jackson][forced fumble: Magnum P. Eye], fumbled , recovered by Handcuffs Ross, PAT made by Tiny McTinklepants [TD] (35 yd return)

Kickoff by Tiny McTinklepants, 69 yd, fielded by I Love Porn[forced fumble: Magnum P. Eye], fumbled , recovered by Tornado Jackson, PAT made by Tiny McTinklepants [TD] (25 yd return)

Kickoff by Gary Shambling, 66 yd, fielded by Willie Parker[forced fumble: Real-Deal Jonce], fumbled , recovered by Mike Dingleberry, PAT made by Gary Shambling [TD] (31 yd return)

Punt by Herbert Muskfeld, 49 yd, fielded by Willie Parker[forced fumble: James JB Brown], fumbled , recovered by Alexa Giannoni, PAT made by Gary Shambling [TD] (58 yd return)

Kickoff by The Other Mike Vanderjagt, 61 yd, fielded by Desmond Howard[forced fumble: Jake Parker], fumbled , recovered by Cory Kluber, PAT made by The Other Mike Vanderjagt [TD] (43 yd return)

Kickoff by The Other Mike Vanderjagt, 67 yd, fielded by Desmond Howard[forced fumble: Jake Parker], fumbled , recovered by Tyrone Carter, PAT made by The Other Mike Vanderjagt [TD] (36 yd return)

Kickoff by Tom Foolery, 65 yd, fielded by Hershey "Dark" Walker[forced fumble: Angus Howlett], fumbled , recovered by Crash Thurman (15.5 yd return) [tackle: Joshua Wise]

Punt by GUMBLE TO GUMBLE, 54 yd, fielded by Some One[forced fumble: Willy Gilligan], fumbled , recovered by Dicky Lighting, PAT made by Kick Jones [TD] (54 yd return)

Punt by One Leg, 48 yd, fielded by Rabid Hellion[forced fumble: Crazy Train Olshansky], fumbled , recovered by Horace Hitman, PAT made by Lefty One-foot [TD] (23 yd return)

Kickoff by Split Uprite, 71 yd, fielded by Hammer Mcgurkin[Monster Hit forced fumble: Stefane Vandegraaf], fumbled , recovered by Sharp Knife, PAT made by Split Uprite [TD] (33.5 yd return)

17 Fumbles in 16 games with 10 of them going for TDs.

Anyone have problem with FG's? Kicker for the Gurupies was 0/3 today. 2 of them from 20 yard range and 1 from 30 yard range. WTF?

I'd trade missing 50 field goals for not fumbling on kickoffs. That is the single most annoying thing that can happen in a game - in the past it reeked of luck, but now you have to take all kinds of gameplanning steps against teams that are forcing a lot of them, and even then you can't always avoid them completely.

Looking at the last 5 seasons of your Kicker and then looking at Game 1 that's pretty bogus. I haven't done as much research into FG kicking as other things, but you're not the first person I've seen raising a question about the FG game this season.

I'm guessing you have used a (nother) broken VA.

Who knows, I am fine with randomness, but I just have a bad feeling this wasn't random. Like this league isn't tough enough already. Now we can't kick Field Goals? Man will be a long season...

Every season is like a new Easter Egg Hunt as to which VAs or aspect of the game is going to be on fire.

I know we've already found two VAs that are absolutely huge for our team at the moment. But I can say that I don't know of a single player on our team that has a point in Big Heart. Would have probably been a good idea though.

We had a FL on a return for a TD too. Just so happens that the same agent has both the return man and the K.

I've been complaining about STs having an exaggerated effect on the game for a couple seasons now...noone will listen to me until it bites them.

I seriously doubt that my primary returner, Clint Grant will fumble more than three times all ssn (and I doubt it will be that high or that anyone would argue that 3 times is too much over an entire ssn). Compared to most other positions, returners have virtually nothing that they have to work on hard: speed, agility & carrying. Sure, you need to have some other skills at the +2 soft cap, and it's nice to have some high SAs (but those aren't even really required). The problem is that most returners have low carrying (below 60). That's a mistake on their part. Anyone that paid much attention should have seen this coming. Sorry for sounding like an ass, but I know I sure did.

I will agree that the FFum are too high right now, but it's a build issue, IMO. If nothing is changed, by the end of ssn, FFums will be reasonable, due to returners putting some effort into holding onto the ball. On the flip side, if it is changed now, FFums will virtually cease to happen at all by the end of ssn, both on O and returns.

IMO, if anything is massively messed up with returns it's starting on the 40 almost every time there isn't a touch back. That's one of the big factors in the head scratching scores we're seeing right now (and FFum is another). That one, I don't see how modifying builds will make it reasonable.

Edit: I'm sure this will get nerfed, and I'll live with it, as I have with every other needless player nerf that's happened. However, this will just be another cycle of Bort fixing something based on holes in builds, punishing those that don't have holes and punishing those that built players to try to achieve a specific result. Flip side, leave it alone and it fixes itself.

Lol, when bruiser changed to 50 carrying, half of GLB complained... so you get an idea of how many ppl don't have carrying over softcap.

Anyway, Bort didn't seem to care about it, I can't see he nerfing it. Finally he seems to be learning something.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that most returnmen have low confidence, stamina and carrying.
