i've got a lev 14 CB that i 2nd capped speed after soft cap agility and he is making a lot of plays. the team i'm on is a 13 cap team so most opponents are in the 14 - 16 lev's

Id 2ndcap speed and then touch vision. No point in 3rdcapping speed right away though. Let your natural increase save you some SPs. 2ndspeed 1stvision 2ndagility 3rdspeed 3rdagility 2ndvision IMO.

that's ridiculous, the whole point of the early 3rd capping is that the natural increase becomes even more useful the faster you hit it. What you're doing is good for the short term, bad long term.

Yeah if you 3rdcap speed ASAP you get the greatest overall speed gains. only speed. My way gives you the greatest overall gains on the big 3. You will have speed to the 3rdcap before I do, thus you will have more speed, but I will have speed/agility/vision to the 3rdcap before you do thus my speed/agility/vision total will be higher. I am taking advantage of natural level gains to make 3rdcapping cost less SPs.

I will have a greater speed/agility/vision total and more SPs lying around for SAs, secondary attributes, etc.

This is assuming you can train vision to a respectable amount before spending SPs in it. I consider 28 the minimum.
