I have a pure receiving TE that I consider a possesion receiver rather then a speed threat, although I wouldn't say he was slow either.

I currently have a pair of AEQ shoes that gives me the 1 handed catch SA from the WR tree. I was pretty happy with the item when I got it and even though 1 handed catches don't show up in the pbp, I still think its a pretty good item to have. It is currently upgraded to the +3 SA level.

However, I went shopping today just to see what was avilable and I can now buy a set of shoes with the SA First Step. I have seen people rave about First Step for other positions so now I'm thinking about getting it and selling the 1 Handed Catch shoes.

I wanted to hear some of your thoughts first though. So which would you rather have for a possesion receiver TE, the One Handed Catch SA or the First Step SA?

I'd say First Step.

First Step for sure. Sell your current piece and dump all those BT's into First Step.
