ok first off let me explain about how this ranking worked.
1. with the extra two games it really messed it up
2.so i used the 1st & 4th pre-season games and threw out the 2nd &3rd games
3. i used the league ranking projector spread sheet { so we really wont see the real ranking til week 4}

Strength of Record
Equation
Strength of Record = (Total number of wins of opponents you have defeated) - (Total number of losses of opponents that have beaten you)
Definition
This is measure of how good a team is. It rewards beating good teams and punishes for losing to bad teams.
Quality of Play
Equation
Quality of Play = (Actual total point differential) - (Predicted total point differential)
Definition
It is essentially how many points (total) that team has beaten (or not beaten) the spread by. I feel it is a good indicator of whether a team is playing better or worse than expected.
