Is a normal sack better than an "ever elusive sack"?

Define "normal sack".

Normal sacks are the ones that get rested on your forehead while you sleep. It's called tea baggins.

Actually sacks are a pretty damn important stat. I'm sure these numbers don't apply to GLB-land where 3rd and 17 is about as easy to convert as 3rd and 7, but in the NFL a sack is worth about 1.5 points based on the lost down and field position.

We're talking GLB. I said "most overrated statistic on GLB since pancakes. I do agree with you on the NFL, though - they're awesome IRL. GLB, though, they really don't matter. Either you can convert on 3rd down or you can't...4-5 yards don't make a hell of a big difference.

Sacks would be more important if the QB ever fumbled.

QBs fumble a ton when my DTs sack them.

I was with you until the end lol. Sacks have made a crazy difference for our team. A team has the ball and it's first and 10, incomplete pass so it's 2nd and 10 then the QB gets sacked and it's 3rd and 16. They get a pass off and get a 13 yard gain. That's a first down and the drive continues if we don't get that sack.
