Maybe even post a play or two to support your case.

I just set it up for mine, but if I read the description it appears to be the best VA based on its attribute boosts, and that you know it'll activate every passing play.

I have 3 corners. I saved all the V.P's on 1 (ba'al) and pumped up ball hawk on the other two(anubus, destroyer) to 7. Ba'al has 3 int's already this preseason, the other 2 have none.
Go figure.

so your saying ballhawk is detrimental to the build? thats silly. Why would it be detrimental to the build?

I posted up a replay yesterday that people were undecided upon as to whether this is evidence of Ball Hawk in action..
All I know is, on this play you have a cornerback (not mine) covering WR2 in man coverage it seems, and then the Strong Safety and My Cornerback fall into a cover 4 shell. Now my corner and the SS are pretty much the same distance away from the receiver that the ball gets passed to. They both seem to react at the same time but my corner has a little more agiity than the SS, so he cuts faster and then goes in and gets the delfection ahead of even the corner in man coverage on the receiver.
Now, my corner has the same vision as the SS. He is slightly more agile but about the same speed and jumping. The major difference is that I have 15 points in Ball Hawk and the SS doesn't. The SS has 15 in Red Zone Freak and the Corner 7... so these are the major differences. The SS even has 15 in Zone Specialist, which the CB has none.
In the play the difference at which he reacts when the ball is in the air is totally different to the SS.

That's how your mom reacts to balls in the air.

So you're liking the Ball hawk? I just reset for my corners. Still debating and looking over replays. I might put it all back in ball hawk.

I'm liking Ball Hawk. I'm at a bit of a loss though now.
Reason being is I have 15 points in Ball Hawk... 15 points in Football Genius (I believe 0.5% is still a good enough bonus) and then I have 8 other Vet points... not sure what to do with them. I used to have them in Long reach, perhaps still a good idea if I go for Semi-Agressive coverage.

Is that a serious question?
Of course. If you think about it... it's all about seeing which routes the receivers are running, which receiver the ball is going to.
It's made even more important when using a veteran ability such as ball hawk because the defender gets a 30% boost to speed, agility and vision from the moment the defender sees the ball is in the air until the moment it is caught/dropped by someone. So the sooner he sees that ball has been thrown, the sooner he will get a boost to his stats.
I'm making big drive with vision now to have a ridiculous amount of it, I'm looking at attempting to get close to 80 with vision.

The CB is 8 levels higher than the SS, so unless you but those 40 extra SP into Punting that could also help explain the fact that your CB reacted quicker. (Who has higher Superior Vision?)
