My NT has 11 in general and 15 in natural leader but it doesn't seem to be effective against even or even slightly lower competition. Anyone know what the consensus is this season about how worthwhile these two are?

They aren't going to make him any better. Read the description of the SA again.

Please don't assume that I don't know how it works. I said it doesn't seem to be effective, I didn't say that he wasn't effective.

To clarify "it" is the SA and VA. "He" is the player.

It was a little awkwardly worded, tbh

It seems to work as well as it ever did to me....meaning it has a lot more value with a low rotation and moderate sta/conf players, much less with high rotation and adequate sta/conf players.

Yes that is a good point tautology, hadn't considered that.

get your owner to post the morale/energy summary for after the game. if your D linemen are all 100 morale and 90 energy...DLG probably isn't going to do much.

Unless the DLG is causing that. My NT plays at 8 DLG (and someone in this thread has a DT reaping the benifits), and had 11 in NL. Energy for all the linemen hovers around gold, except for the guys who play special teams. Also, I'm not a fan of the "General doesn't help the NT" approach. It might just be a coincidence, but as DLG got up to 8, my guy played much better against equal competition.

Hmmm, well I'm a GM so that's solved. All DTs were gold and all DEs were green. So it seems like it would help the DEs more than my guy and the DT opposite the NT. Morale was 100-99 but considering morale is pathetic it's no big disappointment if the morale boost does nothing.

I'm thinking of sinking 10 into leader like I had before and free up 5 points into something like power hitter or brick wall.
