It seems like the majority of my WR's catches are made when he's next to one or two defender

Last game he dropped two passes with nobody even moderately near him
How can i prevent this from happening?

here are the two drops that I really dont understand

and here's my player's build so you guys can hopefully find the flaw =\.

I'm thinking the passes were thrown too high? I would probably think that increasing jumping would benefit most.

the first one looked like it might have been a bad throw behind you that you couldn't make the play on. especially with two to tango theory. the second looks like the too high of a throw was it, jumpin and maybe a jumping catch SA

LMAO. You got hosed by the SIM. Your attributes are high enough for your level that those should NEVER happen. Sigh.

It looks like you passed the initial catch roll but failed the roll to pull it in and hold on. That's a function of Carrying, among other attributes.

I would say Carry but I am normally wrong on the WR forum.

It looks like he heard footsteps on both plays. Carrying makes sense. However, imo soft cap your jumping asap. I think i would train catching based on your build. I'd rather put points into the higher stat and train the lower.

I don't think it is carrying.. Carrying combats "knocked loose", which now shows in the PbP.

i think it is a combination of 3 things.

1. low jumping
2. low catching
3. and sometimes drops just happen

Carrying affects the ability to hold on to the ball after the initial catch roll, regardless of whether you are hit.

He's right. Carrying affects your ability to hold on to the ball and then tuck it away. Doesn't make a difference if he's being hit or not.

Bort mentioned this several seasons ago. I'm not going to hunt for a link.
