Hey guys, I have this old ass Halfback I'm retiring. He's from Season 2. With the FP from his retirement I'm going to create a new halfback, that meets current standards. What should I be doing, build wise? Powerback, Elusive? What's more succesfull. Also, where do I put my SP in? Which atribute do I softcap first? Give me some solid advice guys. Thanks in advance.

Where you put ur SPs into depends on what kind of RB you want. If you want an elusive back then you probably would wanna softcap speed first then agility imo. If you want a power back id build strength, speed, and carrying evenly imo. Thats just my 2 cents.

Whichever type of RB you go for if you want him to be successful you have to hit the HIGH caps first. For an Elusive I would get speed and agility to 74 as quickly as possible, for a powerback I would get strength to 74 and speed and agility to 68 as quickly as possible and then go from there.

Good advice. My personal preference would by to get carrying to 68 before agility for a powerback. Don't put any points into SAs until you've got at least 3 attributes to 68+, use your adv. training pairs wisely.

Depends on whether you need him to be productive now or not. If you're slow building then I'd train speed/agility until you can cap speed, slow building allows your player to hit higher peak potential.

+1, everything depends on WHEN you want the HB to start contributing. Most guys here are looking to build a HB that FINISHES strong. The HB will be best the last 3 seasons than the first 7.
But it can be done to where your HB will be ready to contribute starting their 5th season..with not that much of a loss in the later seasons. Having that one SWEET piece of AEQ helps that out as well in the early/mid seasons so you don't need to hit the SAs early

Just slow build. Work on speed/agility. Like the guys said above.

Would you go straight to 68 in carrying before agility or do it in stages? Only asking because my lvl 18 back I'm building as a powerback and he's my first power back

At that point I'd probably do it in stages, something like carry to 50, agil to 50, carry to 68, agil to 60. The low caps on both carrying and agility should be pretty easy to hit and all of your other attributes should be trained up pretty high by the time you get to 68str/68spd/68car/60agi.
But I'm building another powerback who's at 21 now, so I'll let you know when I get there.
