What with all the attribute VA nerfing I'm looking to reshuffle my veteran points and I figured that Heavyweight might be worth investing in for my NT, but someone told me that they don't think it does anything. Anyone got any examples of it working?

Also, any other VAs that might be worth looking into for NTs?

If anyone tells you heavyweight v.a. does nothing, make sure you take a mental note. Then never ever take advice from them again.

it is teh ultimate

Today my DT who is no slouch had 0 knockdowns vs. a similar level OL.

I've opened him up for the moment. He also has a 11% break block chance

builds pretty BA. have you seen HW work in the past. i had it with one of my NTs that i retired and didnt see anything.

I have never had heavyweight on any of my players until yesterday. I had him with Track Star and Quick before.

My NT seemed to be knocking people down pretty well today with HW. Not sure if it's the VA or he was just knocking them down because of his build change.

In this first four plays of the game he knocked down FB, the RG, and then the C twice in a row, then gets the other (higher level) center again later in the drive.

I'm moving hogan to around 95 STR for now, will see if I have any luck in my 3rd preseason game as my 2nd is cupcake game.

my DT was knocking guys down left and right last season...this season it looks like he can't tell which team has the ball...looks like a disaster season coming for my players...

i usually only see it kick in during running plays....shed block usually kicks it on passing plays...

Crap. I told ya'll it was gonna get nerfed.

Heavyweight
This player is hard to block. Each level of Heavyweight gives a +2% bonus to knocking down his blocker when breaking a block.


Problem with this VA is that if you're not shedding/breaking blocks...you won't get a bonus.

Plus, it's only a 30% to knocking down the other guy...we have no idea what our original knockdown chance is...and how the 30% will add on.
