With a close game today between the Fremont Warriors and Team MaddenWars, someone gets to move up in the rankings....The Hobbs Gerbil Wranglers!

Yes yes, I realize that Maddenwars got beat by Fremont, yet my power rankings still have Fremont below Maddenwars. I'm working on it. But I've gotten to the point now where without a major overhaul (which is planned and in the works) I'm not going to tinker with the weights and categories just to put one team above another.

Remember, these rankings currently take into account the season long performances, and no additional weight is added to the most recent games.

I've figured out a way to do that, but it's going to take a while. So that will be ready for next season, or maybe the very end of this season....Then hopefully issues like this will be fixed.

The other interpretation of this could be that MaddenWars is the better team on paper, but they were out-coached by Fremont....take your pick.

I'm not sure that the effect is from the ST, but more from the fact that the stats used are collected over the entire season.

So they've put up better numbers than you for the entire season, but you still managed to be them.

Like I said, I have a plan to help reward teams that have a big win over a highly ranked team, but it's going to take some time to get that put in correctly.

So in the end, I feel for ya. I can easily imagine wanting to come to the forums after a big win and see a nice reward in the power rankings, but it just didn't happen today. I apologize. Take it out on whoever you play in the first round of the playoffs....(But not Beer Town....lol)

I think the team records speak louder than the Power Rankings.

I'm surprised defense went down after the 27 we gave up to Boston.

Did someone say BCS rankings? I have been patient and given these rankings a chance. Not anymore regadless of what several people say...it is flawed. I know Stick works hard punching those numbers into his MS Excel sheet but it is still flawed. Ya know why? There is no human interjection!!! Just like the BCS. NFL Power Rankings are all about the numbers and common sense with human interjection. Have fun with these and I am sticking to the league rankings from now on.

The only thing these league rankings are meant to do is compare teams based on performance. People are getting way too worked up about where you stand. Let's see how they play out after week 16 and then you can critique them.

Fremont closed the gap significantly on Madden. Freemont is a good team but so is Madden and your win was not that convincing. Madden controlled the game for 3 QTRs and you guys came up with some clutch 4th QTR plays. You all didn't prove today that you were better than Madden you proved you were better today.

Oh come on...I've been quiet all this time...shove it William...Is a little respect too much to ask...We played TMW's and walked away respecting eachother...Keep your two cents in your own conference...You probably have the best team in the league...feel better now jack___.
