Track Star is useless, Quick Feet does nothing for a RB who doesn't use them, so what should I put for my Speed RB to make his VA's useful?

Quick Feet is much better now that it helps the effectiveness of spin. I think it's a great SA for eluisve HBs who pump points into the elusive SAs.
For an elusive that doesn't use elusive SAs?
Slippery.
Maybe Tenacious?
Bruiser if you're a strength/speed guy ...
Big Heart, Red Zone Freak, Slow Starter, Streaky are all situational and depend on your player's role but could be useful for any player given the right circumstances ...

Clutch.
i would say to pump your QC and juke SAs so quick feet will actually work to your liking. But clutch is probably the best. it will allow your back to read the best hole to get the best running lane, which will get the best yardage. That should work well with a balanced running style.
My take on a speed back is that he wants to see the hole and just explode STRAGHT thru it to get the mist yards as possible. Cluch "should" make that happen more.

he is not an elusive...speed back does not have the agility to consistently fire fake SAs. Plus, i think he was alluding o the fact that he does not have many SAs. i was gonna say tenacious or short yard monster, but his break tackle start percentage is probably pretty low since he does not have the strength/carrying of a powerback.

cptafw is right. I'm not an elusive RB, I said I wasn't an elusive RB, I have good agility but not the SA's needed to fire the Quick Feet VA... which I said is useless for a Speed back, which is why I asked this...Slippery is good for players with spin, which I don't have either. I can't use breaking tackle VA's because I don't have the strength to pull them off.
Bort really fucked up Speed RB's without giving them anything to fall back on.
So, my only alternative is to become an Elusive RB then? So I can increase Agility, Juke, and actually have a useful VA... Thanks Bort! You have the foresight of a bolder!!!

well what else do you have besides speed? give us more details on your build ... sure there might not be a VA that's perfect for your build, but we can find out which are best ...

or you can invest in clutch...which will FORCE those playmaking abilities on your speed back, reguardless of your attributes. basically it makes him superman for a second if it means the first down or a TD.
In the thread below this, i explained what clutch should bring to the table.

100 Speed
70 Agility
9 QC
3 HF
3 FS
1 Juke
1 Spin
That's all that is relevant to my build for Speed RB VA's.

carrying/vision/confidence? i find it hard to believe those attributes aren't relevant to picking VAs ...
plan on being used to catch passes out of the backfield? scatback is pretty good for those type of RBs.
if all you care about is speed, then just load up on 'track star' and 'quick'. they're not as powerful as before, but still useful if most of your SPs are loaded into one or 2 attributes.

36 Carry

He's not really used in the passing game much, but he might have to be this season depending on how the offense shapes up.

i think he could be a force receiving out of the backfield with the speed/agility/QC that high. i'd think of working him into this type of game plan more. if you did, then scatback would be a great VA.
15 in scatback gives him a +30% bonus to catching passes, and +15% bonus to speed/agility when running a route. who the heck is going to keep up with him unless there's a stud cover corner on him.

he's not goin to break any tackles, so other than that, i'd get his other elusive SAs up a little bit and you could use 'quick feet'

That would make him an elusive RB... Sort of defeats the purpose of being a Speed RB, doesn't it? I really don't think I should have to change my players build because Bort can't be smart enough to think about what his actions will do to certain builds.

well you're right about that ... if you want to keep him as a speed RB, then go with track star. it's not like it's not useful anymore, it's just not broken like it was.

I'm considering selling most EQ, including CEQ (minus the AEQ with QC) and rebuying it to put 21 points from Speed into Agility. So, instead of the 99spd, 70agl RB I presently have, I could have a 78spd, 91agl and use some boost points to raise Juke and VA's go to Quick Feet.
I hate having to change from Speed to Elusive, but Bort is practically forcing me to.
