Since Creeker did one for Naga, I guess I'll do one for Garuda. There's a lot of new teams this season that I'm not too familiar w/, so I'll do my best.
1. Louisiana Screaming Pelicans
Garuda's most perverted team name belongs to the conference's toughest team. After their heartbreaking loss in the Super Wok, they're looking to repeat as Garuda champs.
2. Semarang Red Bulls
Garuda's dark horses from season 8, they came on strong at the end, and were just a FG away from the Super Wok.
3. Bangkok Tweetys
Tweetys had their playoff run cut short after being victimized by the Slam Spam. A season ago they were easily the #2 team in Garuda, but they lost some ground to the Red Bulls. They've got their work cut out for them if they want to move back up.
4. Singapore Flames
Could this be the year they break out of the shadow of the other Singapore team? Quite possibly.
5. South Austin Bats
Bats emerged as one of the top Garuda teams last season, rising from the ashes of all the gutted teams.
6. Hong Kong Hustlers
Nobody is safe from being Hustled. Hustlers struggled early on in season 8, but with some clever, creative, and unpredictable game planning they were able to sneak their way into the playoffs.
7. Bangkok Lightning
The Lightning choked big in the playoffs, but should rebound ok in season 9.
8. Three Kingdom Warriors
3KW made some noise in their debut season in the pros before falling flat in the home stretch. Now, with a year under their belt, they are looking to improve on last season.
9. Bali Waves
Waves made a splash in their 1st Pro season, barely missing out on the playoffs. They were 8-8 last season, but half of those wins came against gutted teams. They're going to need to win some of the big games if they want to make the playoffs.
10. Hong Kong Highlanders
There seems to be a cloud of uncertainty surrounding this team. There have been rumors that they will be the next Garuda team to gut. Unless they improve upon last season, these rumors could come into fruition.
11. Manila Warlords
Warlords only won 2 games against legitimate teams, but lost several close games, including a one TD loss to the eventual league champions. They may muster a few upsets, but probably won't make the playoffs. They just don't have the same luster they had in AAA.
12. Elephant Riders
AAA#2 runners up are one of 5 teams making their pro debut in Garuda. They went undefeated last season, but the Pros are much tougher than AAA ball.
13. Jakarta Cobras
AAA#1 runners up have already made some noise in the pros, before they've even played a game in the league. They've got a lot of walkin' to do to back up their talkin'.
14. Buffalo Rampage
The Rampage went undefeated during the regular season, but failed to make the AAA2 Naga championship game. Now playing in Garuda, they will try to emulate their success in the pros.
15. Laos King Pongers
Another AAA2 Naga team switching to Garuda in the pros, the Pongers will have their work cut out for them.
16. Sumatra Sting
The Sting are in for a wake up call, skipping AAA altogether, moving straight from AA to the pros.

But no question, we do have our work cut out for us. I highly doubt the 3 newest members finish in the bottom 3.
