I don't get it, it's like a grown man suiting up in a pee wee game. Sure you can really pad some stats, but what's the point? The whole point of putting caps on leagues is to keep somewhat of a level playing field, to sneak players in some 13 levels above cap is kind of rediculous, like stealing candy from trick or treaters. Sure you can get plenty of candy, but look at what you've become to get it.

The short sitedness of the people who run this website will be their downfall, I know players in my league stopped paying for upgrades and boosts right after season 2.

Only one of those builds are viewable. But seriously, the point isn't how bad some high lvl players are that they need to play versus players 10 levels lower to compete, at least I think that's the argument you were making. The whole idea of the game is to make the best of the lvls and skill points you have and for teams to design winning strategies and assemble players that fit the team based on those strategies. I doubt it was designed to be a game to see how creative you can get in order to sneak as many grossly over-the-cap players on the team as possible in order to overwhelm the other team with attributes rather than strategy. Even if a lvl 44 has a terrible build, he still has had at least a 50 skill point advantage over players at the league cap to build their player, i'm sure you're not suggesting that's fair to everyone else who is honoring the rules set up for the capped league and are going up against that player with a 50 skill point disadvantage? If their build is so good that they can compete against a player 10 lvls higher, they deserve to see that player's awesome build go against others of equal lvl. In an uncapped league it wouldn't be an issue, but the league is capped and I personally think the season would be more fulfilling if it were respected as such..
I'm not saying that's what you've done, and i'm not pointing fingers at anyone specifically in the league, but I know for a fact that it has happened in other leagues as I was contacted by multiple teams in lower capped leagues wanting to sneak my HB in before the deadline, and if it happens in other leagues it's natural to assume it's at least a possibility in this one. That little sliver of suspicion grows larger when I see teams with players exceding the league cap by 10+ levels and the makeup of their team currently being such that there was no way it would have made the lvl 34 cap with it's current makeup. That makes you wonder, is it just blind luck that they stumbled into a 34 cap league, or was it planned in much the same manner as i've seen others plan to "cheat" the system?
Ultimately if you made it into the league, you have every right to be here as it's up to administrators of the game to do it's policing of policy rather than the players. And honestly it doesn't really bother me to see players moderately over the cap, but it disheartens me to see players lvl 45+ in a 34 capped league. I just personally was looking forward to finaly playing in a league where every game would be relatively on a level playing field and the winners and losers would be determined by players independent building and the tactics teams employ. There is about a 80 % chance you get swapped into a 38 cap league by end of this season Why when your median was 36 did you feel the need to play vs lesser competition? It was a 34 cap, you are already on the watch list, and I got a feeling your going to be removed. It is just not fair to set a policy, and then have one team completely disregard it. If NBA Jam was in a 31 cap we would win every game by 70. It isn't even about tactics at this point.

We did that and we rated out for this league and this cap.... Some of our guys had season 8 boosts left... they boosted after they were signed just like everyone does on a capped 13 team.

No. You have horribly built players that can't compete in your own cap. You have to play vs lesser competition to even be competitive. You went 10-6 last season with a team of equal levels as mine now, and lost sooooo many games you would have won with better builds/ game plans. You are going to get smacked at any level of play the rest of your glb life. The only way you can win is by beating up lesser competition. Pretty sad really. Enjoy being king of the kiddie pool.

We haven't even played. This is like me in a 31 cap, destroying teams, and then saying everyone is whiny for losing to a guy who has 34's vs 31's. You have 15 kids over the cap, and you were over the median the day teams were handed out. I sent it to support that night 30 mn after roster turnover. Your median was 35.3 for the top 30% of your players. I did 30% to show that it was even higher at 25" to justify my complaints. I did the math. I will wait to see what happens.

Wrong my friend. 15 of your starters were over the league median. Bort hasn't officially clicked on your team yet. 15 of your players all over the league cap. Total bs totally unfair. The only reason it will be close at all is my teams builds are superior, as everyone is slowbuilt, has custom equipment, and boosts. To have to play vs 15 players who are over league cap is crap. Let me swap 15 over level 34 players to my roster see how you would do... You would lose by 100. This is total crap and support has been notified.

We haven't even played. This is like me in a 31 cap, destroying teams, and then saying everyone is whiny for losing to a guy who has 34's vs 31's. You have 15 kids over the cap, and you were over the median the day teams were handed out. I sent it to support that night 30 mn after roster turnover. Your median was 35.3 for the top 30% of your players. I did 30% to show that it was even higher at 25" to justify my complaints. I did the math. I will wait to see what happens.

But seriously, I totally understand that some people make crap builds, I get that really I do. But being 10 lvls higher than the cap they are 50 skill points ahead of players within the cap. You can't tell me that doesn't go a ways into making up for their bad build? The point is even if he has a crap build, and lvl 44 player will certainly play better than he would with the build he had at lvl 34, why should a bad player have more success than his build warrants? And why should players within the cap have enjoy less success than they would with that player had he been using his player as it was when he was 34? Even if he is lvl 44 and still sucks, he clearly sucks less now then he did at lvl 34. That in itself is an advantage gained soley by aditional levels as you yourself said he has a bad build to begin with.
All i'm saying is it would be nice to play in a league where people for the most part embraced the cap rather than try to turn what was meant to create a level playing field into an advantage for their particular team. But again, to each their own, if GLB doesn't have a problem with it, what can I say about it other than I wish it were different? You're right that the requirements to get into a capped league were to have the top 25% of your team fit inside that league's cap, but if you do have 15 starters over the league median, I don't see how the top 25% of your team could possibly fit in the 34 cap as it stands now.
