I don't enjoy asking for help, because until now i like to think i did a very good job. However i'm at a cross roads and i'm looking for opinions ... any opinions, and lots of it... This is also can be seen as a discussion of What to do AFTER you soft cap Strength/ tackling

strength isn't the all factor for tackles. I've heard LBs say that more tackling is actually more important for MAKING the tackles. So if i want to make tackles on power backs i'd say get tackling to 60 instead of strength, and pump "wrap up" and you should do fine. But i HAVE heard of the strength= more PDs... and it does make me curious .... however at the moment. i JUST softcapped Strength/ tackling.


So right now i've come to a cross roads for the up coming boost ... no matter what i'm spending 3 SPs into vision to get it to 68 finally

1.) pump Strength in hopes of more PD by jarring loose. and helping tackles a bit....

2.) pump tackling to sure up tackling

3.) pump jumping to soft cap (currently 41) for more PDs, and spend the rest on "wrap up" to sure up tackles a little ....

I think i'm leaning toward #3 at the moment

for me, i would go with strength to force more fumbles. i know some people are satisfied with keeping tackling btw 40-50 but it really depends on your league, the powerbacks you face and watching some film to see how your player does.

there are some out there that believe catching also helps PDs but i'm not entirely sure if you will ever see an huge gain because your stats depend a lot on how they run their offense and the quality of their TE.

confidence can also be beneficial for missing tackles...

stamina helps with tackles/PDs in the 4th

anyhow, i'm not sure there's a wrong decision you can make here.

Two immediate needs I see would be to softcap stamina, and take Superior Vision to 8 or 9 base.

I think thats leaned me toward Stamina soft capped. And 2 more points in Super Vision. (Getting it to 8) And then training on intense for a while will help me get it up by 1 (i have a AEQ with super vision)

I think I'll hold off on the 3 sp in vision, and the wrap up tackle SA.

So this boost i'm leaning toward

Soft Cap Stamina
2 Points in Super Vision

then next level up after this boost

I'll put +1 Vision
2 in Wrap Up tackle SA

All the while continuing to train Jumping/ Catching

Even though i'm leaning toward this i'm still open to ideas if anyone else wants to chime in.
