I'm super slow building a QB. On a team who will train for 3 seasons. I have enough other players to keep me busy for a couple of season and I GM for 2 teams. Question is, what different routes are there for building a QB. Please PM me with your suggestions.

QBs are pretty basic, save for the debate over strength vs vision (a 10+ page thread of which can be found on this forum). In the end though, you still want throwing up to 4:1 or 5:1, strength and vision to third cap, confidence at least to first cap. Tight Spiral is the SA of choice, just a matter of how long you can wait before putting points into it.

Of course, this is assuming you aren't going with a scrambler.

I'm super slow building a QB too. I trained str and throwing till I got str and sp's to 48.(leaving it for now) Next Im train thw and vision till thw and sp's get to 48. Then putting everything into thw till 69. While train vision and conf and conf and stam then agil and stam.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing. I built my last QB the same way because you can't train str will anything else usefull. I was wondering if there was another way to do with super slow building.

You can train strength w/ throwing to start and then switch to carrying once you've dumping points into throwing. Carrying will become much more important since it appears that they are starting to fumble more often.
