Originally posted by DeathKnight000 I will wait for the whole league MVP since the last games will weed out the true non contenders. Its still up between Kaythan and wayne though.
How is Toe Blake not in the running? He is almost at about 1600 yards and has 26 tds. Needs 400 more for 2000 in 4 games.
How do you not read very well. I said i would wait but right now wayne and kaythan are top dogs in the lists for me. Maybe in the last 4 games wayne will throw 10 INTs. Then i will not choose him. Maybe toe blake will get stuffed in every game. Before you start slinging mud re-read everything.
All I did was ask a simple question, there was no "mud slinging".
I was just asking because Toe actually leads in Yards and TDs. He has more rushing tds then wayne does passing. And Wayne doesn't even lead in passing.
Ok guys, I have a simple solution to avoid all of the unnecessary arguing. Just give the award to Kaythan. You might as well name the trophy after him ad well, that guy is a stud.
I think we need to have an overall MVP, and then also one for both sides of the ball. I'm not going to hype myself up, but I am very impressed with Kaythan. The man is a freak of nature and gets the job done every single game.
They have a league MVP and then offensive and defensive players of the year. I know it seems like a semantics argument but the way I see that is the MVP is the best player who is makes the biggest impact/is the most important to their team (normally a contender). Then offensive and defensive players of the year are more of just a statistics contest.
A good example being 1999-2001 in the NFL Kurt Warner received the 1999 MVP and the 2001, while Faulk received the 2000. Faulk was offensive player of the year all three years.
