I'm about to LVL (900+xp/1000) so I plan to probably use

8 SP to softcap carrying
then either:
+3 strength for 12 SP (working towards the 4th softcap)
or
+3 quick cut for 11 SP (making it 8)
or
+1 stiff arm, +2 power thru for 10 SP (making 9 PT)
or
+10 stamina for 10 SP
or
+6 carrying for 12 SP

Still up in the air. All input would be welcome. Last season with 68 strength and 10 power thru, that SA very rarely fired, fwiw... (though against +7 to 14 level competition)

Strength, speed, agility. Looks good to me. I like it. I like those three before vision in fact. Who cares about vision with that build. Seriously.

depending on your running style equates to the level vision you need IMO. If you run on power, screw vision, and cap carrying and then add strenght.

Your guy needs agility and carrying far more than strength at this point.

agility is definitely bad advice. alot more agility just turns him into a combo back with too many power SAs.

If his strength and speed aren't at 68 yet I'd get them to AT LEAST that cap, if not higher, then add carrying. Keep training stamina and confidence. Eventually you may want a little more agility (~60) but he's fine for now, he'll get close enough naturally over the next season or two.

agility helps break tackles

only when you use agility to cut away from a player who is trying to tackle you.

with strength and power SAs that high, it doesnt make sense to run on more than -50, since he can't use bruiser. therefore, more agility is useless.

if the idea is to be a combo back, then you will need more agility... but given base skill VAs being phased out, bruiser (and maybe even slippery) become more important, and indecisive identity problem combo backs will become less worthwhile.

no,

When you cut away from a tackler, it does not show up as a missed tackle. But agility helps shake free from tackles. i know because my elusive HB had back to back 80+ broken tackle seasons..and he has 21 strength right now at level 34. But his agility has always been high. I checked, a HF/Juke was not the reason for the broken tackle.
