So far I've had no problem creating NT's but I'm guessing that DT's are a bit different. How exactly do you build a successful pass-rushing DT? Do I initially build him similar to a NT by softcapping str. then agil? Or do you go for agility first?

5 or 6 cap agil, 4 cap STR, 3 cap or 4 cap speed, cap vison, 10 Shed Block...that should take you through level 40ish

In that order?

I'd go agi to 68, then str, then cap tackling, then speed, then 2nd cap speed.

But will he be able to do any damage whatsoever with little strength and high agility in the lower levels?

I Think you should build them pretty similar but instead of tackling I would get Speed to 60 or the 3rd cap before capping tackling. for the most part you will be matched up 1 on 1 with the LG and speed can really hurt him because guards usually have very low speed.

I'm at a cross roads point with both my level 7 DT and NT if you want to check it. here are my plans so far.

Why didn't you immediately work on softcapping agility after softcapping strength?

difference is in equipment and perhaps SAs imo. Attribute build itself is pretty much the same.

What's the difference in equipment? Agility for DT, STR for NT?

who cares? if that's the point, don't slow build.

Well I wanted to make use of training before putting points into agility...I'm done training agility and plan on capping it at level 8 for my DT. I trained my strength to 30 before capping it and with agility i was able to train it to 37 while capping strength again. It saves SP

That's actually pretty smart man, props to you my man. Do you mind if I use your builds as a guide for my DT's?

Alternate Str and agility till they hit the 6:1 cap. then work speed up to about 70-73. Split equipment even in str and agility.

Work on nothing else.

Train everything else. Once you reach the targets, bring tackling to cap.

That's the slow build way I do it. imo

IMO

For pass rushing DT

Train strength/tackling until you can cap strength (and strength is 94-99% trained manipulate last training if necessary).
Switch training to speed/agility.
Take strength to 3rd cap. (roughly 68) then train strength/tackling one more time
Switch training to speed/tackling until tackling rolls over.
Switch training to speed/stamina.
Take agility to at least 73 and consider 77 or 80 depending on how long you have to build.
Assign sp to speed until it is at least 68 and switch training to stamina/confidence or confidence/vision if stamina is high enough.
Get shed block up.
Start assigning sp to vision, train tackling/jumping.

You can put some equip in stamina early, but end goal is all equip in agility.
