Ive been working on a kicker punter combo player -

he still has 60 sp left and 3 boost this season so a total of 90 points before the first game next season

The idea came up between a friend and i as we prepare to own a team next season we wont have to pay 2 players for a fairly simple job. What do you think of the idea and the build so far?

Check the forums, every time this has come up its been unanimously declared a bad idea. With the current game's framework it will never work.

Well it has come up at least a dozen times to my memory. You aren't the first to come up with it. It doesn't really work, and it'll never be as good as a punter or kicker. Its easy to max XP a kicker/punter, the savings would be minimal.

You haven't boosted him right? Just retire, start again, and slow build a good kicker or punter. Some of us built character in season 1 for a few seasons and ended up with useless dots. Blowing a QB/WR build after 4 seasons is brutal and expensive, you just messed up a little on a level 12 punter. Roll him again right now, and you may be able to have punting capped by level 2. Punters are a lot easier to slow build than other positions because we remain effective even during the slow build process since P's are somewhat 1-dimensional.

5/6 cap Punt
4/5 cap Conf
3/4 cap vis
2/3 cap str
1 cap either AGI or JUMP depending on who you talk to. Train what you will cap next, and do intense training to get those tokens.

The WR/P combo worked really well until Bort Nerfed it. The punting attribute improved leg strength and gave a boost to acceleration.

hilarious. To have 62 kicking he sure doesn't kick much. But his kicking has been flawless thus far.

His punting is about on par with a Pee Wee punter, though.
