He got a really good roll on speed and agility so I was going to cap those and then switch to str/car for training.

How would you start? Speed to 61, then agility? Strength first? All 4 majors to 61 first or blast speed or strength through the roof? I'd love to get you guy's opinions.

I'd train strength and carrying for much of the first season until they're each at about 30. Then, I'd go crazy with SPs into strength. You should be able to get to the 3rd cap by the end of the first season. After you've added points to strength, train speed/agility for the rest of the season.

Its hard to predict which type of back will be viable 4-5 seasons from now. I really like the build a friend of mine has going:

I think the Combo route will probably be an ideal way to go.

unless elusive sa's get a major boost, power backs are still probably going to be better....so u can 68 or 73 cap str, 60 cap carrying, then pump speed/agi. or, since elusives are cooler, pump speed/agi then carrying and then you can add to str if you need it later on.

Yea I agree power backs are going to remain tops as long as it's not feasible for defensive players to have >80 strength & tackling.

hmmm so that means I will want to get strength to base 68 pretty soon. Perhaps get spd/agi up to the soft cap before switching to strength until it's >68 then.

straight power backs are usually str > carrying > agi > speed to whatever caps you want (68, 60, 60, 60 seems kinda typical). i kinda think to have your back be relevant his whole career you can go with speed > agi > carrying > str but that's gonna put you behind a little on the power back route.

since he'll be slow built all the way it's not all that important what order I go in I suppose.

Does anybody think that size should dictate which style my RB is? ie a 180 lb guy would be (significantly) less effective at breaking tackles than a 200 lb guy?
