I don't boost nor do I have any custom EQ. What I'm planning on doing is sort of experimenting. Usually, after getting a player's primary skill to the 3rd-cap, I start working toward getting the #2 skill to the soft-cap. This time, I'm going to get his speed to the 4th cap first before getting agility to the soft-cap, and then to the hard-cap. Catching, jumping, and vision I'm planning on holding off on until these are done.
Does this sound like a good plan? With 70.63 base speed at level 12 and 2 unused SPs, I look to have the 73 needed for the 4th cap by level 14 (decimal will pass '1' and I'll get 2 levels with 8 SPs).
After getting speed to the 4th cap, should I get agility to the 3rd cap before getting catching to the soft-cap or should I leave it at the hard-cap before getting catching to the soft-cap?
Yes, I realize that I'll drop a lot of passes in the meantime while I wait for the levels to come, but I think in the long run, I'll have a KR/PR/YAC machine. I may potentially catch 25-30% fewer balls, but when I rack up an average of 25 YAC, I think I could still potentially lead leagues in receiving yards and TDs.
