First off here are the initial rolls that I got:

NT : http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1379237

DT : http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1378075

Here is what I plan on doing with him

1. Train Strength and Tackling until I can soft cap Strength.
2. Train Speed and Agility until I can 3 cap Strength. (Bumping Stamina occasionally)
3. Train Speed and Tackling until I can 3 cap agility. (Bumping Stamina occasionally)

After that I would like to try and 5 cap strength while rounding out some of the area's I have neglected. Vision, confidence.

What point should I start trying to bump up Def Line General? How high should I try and get Break Through? Get one of the two up to 4 the other 8 with a piece of AeQ in the lower of the two? I know low to mid 20's is the earliest I should be putting points into SA's.

Any input or changes? One of my first players was a NT and it is my favorite build but I massively messed him up early and have been trying to fix him ever since.

The DT I have more questions about as I have no real idea how to go about building him. Here is my tentative, uneducated plan.

1. Train Agility and Speed until I can soft cap agility.
2. Train Speed and Tackling until I can 3 cap agility.
3. Train Strength and Tackling until I can 61 cap speed and soft cap strength.

After that I would 3 cap strength and speed. Long term try and 5 cap agility. Go with 4 pieces of Agility gear until maybe lvl 28-30 then go 3 agility 1 strength (or speed?).

What SA's are essential when should I start pumping points in? What are the top 2-3 AeQ pieces? Where is my plan way out of whack?

NT: get strength to 5:1 cap, then get agility to 4:1 cap
DT: get agility to 4:1 cap (maybe 5:1), then get strength to 4:1

I wouldn't mess around with capping speed or putting points in SA's before that... you'll "peak too soon" then. I'd use the huge gains DT get in strength and agility to pump both up to very high levels to create a base you can build off of.
