I miss Seasons 1 and 2, when you had to actually figure out whether to pick run or pass on both sides of the ball, it was a lot of fun. It's like the old school Final Fantasy games before they added so many unnecessary and bizarre detractors that take away from the core basic elements of what made the game so great in the beginning.

There are a few good ones in there... and it would give me hope, other than the last post was early season 7...

SI OT was the fad a couple seasons back so it isn't really wrong

No just shifted it to SI Slam and I am sure next season there will be another play. Tough to test everything and there are to many intelligent game planners not to find the holes in GLB.

It does make it seem like he is just that out of touch with the game though. He doesn't even know the most exploited play!

D Play Creator will probably be the first exploit next season.

I'm interested to see how man coverage gets pushed aside to zone. Having LBs always line up over who they're covering could be pretty gross against certain rushes.

Yea, and according to you if the other team runs more than your team does, they aren't playing with good sportsmanship. But berating teams/owners/players/GM's after you lose is a perfectly good method of sportsmanship.

Not at all, I don't mind if a team wants to run the ball more than us, nothing wrong with that. I also only berate owners that show stoop to low levels. And when have I berated a player after a loss?

I predict the DPC will create a sob-fest the likes of which GLB has never seen. You thought people flipping out because they can't set a defensive AI was bad, wait until someone screws up their defensive set by leaving a TE or HB uncovered and blames Bort & Co. for their own ineptitude.

Sarcasm? Thread is from season 6. Bert still hasnīt realised that the only way to combat this kind of thing is to allow defenses to increase effectiveness (how that is implemented is less important) in-game if their opponents continually use the same play.

I dunno. this season is tough to top.Especially now, the crescendo of whining is reaching epic levels.
