This season - thanks to a couple of seasons of mass relegation - USA Pro closed the gap and easily surpassed all the other Pro leagues to reclaim its rightful place as the undisputed toughest league in GLB. I've put together a little celebration of USAPL's out of league escapades this past regular season - and with another season of promotion/relegation, season 9 of USA Pro should be even better.

Western Conference

The Western conference was a combined 62-16 against the rest of the world in season 8, including victories over top teams from every region such as Santiago, West Scranton, Emmaus, Lake Opeta, Bandar Lampung, Black Forest, and the team formerly known as ALB. Eastern Conference

The Eastern Conference totaled 51-25 against the rest of the world in season 8. Their numbers were deflated slightly when compared with the west because their top teams played a smaller scrimmage slate as a whole, and also played fewer 'lower tier' teams from other leagues in the games they did have. Cincy and OFG led the charge for the east, combining to go 20-1 out of league with wins over LOL, Emmaus, Prague, and Halifax.

Totals

USA Pro as a whole combined for a 113-41 out of league record (0.722 pct) this past regular season. The records against each of the other 7 Pro leagues are as follows:

USAPL vs. SEAPL 16-3 (0.842)
USAPL vs. APL 13-4 (0.765)
USAPL vs. WEPL 12-4 (0.750)
USAPL vs. EEPL 18-7 (0.720)
USAPL vs. CPL 23-9 (0.719)
USAPL vs. OPL 16-8 (0.666
USAPL vs. SAPL 17-9 (0.654)

League play is a lot of fun, but the competition between regions lends another dimension to GLB entirely, and in that competition, USA was tops in Season 8. I'm sure I speak for a lot of other owners and agents in this league when I say I'm proud to be a USA Pro Leaguer. Here's to an exciting playoff (hopefully somebody will make it hard for Monmouth), and continued success as a league in season 9.

Great to have this down. Saw it posted in the ongoing best Pro teams debate and really thought there was no comeback from anyone. Great info.

Nice list!

Also doesn't include Wolfpack's win by default over WSI (see Landry's tournament thread where they refused to play us).

Dryden still has one game left against USA Pro... that percentage may change!

Looks like Dryden was 3-2 against USAPL teams. Asheme needs some more math classes.

***O*** was ahead of the Hornets with less than 2 min left and they had no timeouts. I had messed around with AI and removed QB Kneels. We ran and fumbled and they scored a TD to win it. All we have to do is kneel three times and we win.

You missed one of our other losses though, we were 11-2. Should have been 12-1...DOH!

Most of our scrimmages were testing, including both wins over Porto Alegre and our loss to Ufa. One of the other Pro teams we scrimmaged actually agreed to not run the ball more than 50% and then 'forgot' to do so, but we lost all the other Pro scrimmages...the ones that should 'count'. So I think our record is really 0-2 out of league, and they both used the season 8 offense.
