First of all...great season. This is one hell of a league...best in the game hands down. When you see teams like the Lightning, Bullets, Woodys, Freebirds, Elvis, etc missing the playoffs, it's a real testament to how tough this league is. There are no weeks off, and no guaranteed wins which has been shown during our 16 weeks.

And now...the rankings...

1) Monmouth Evil Monkeys (1)
Sik - Let's see if they can keep it up in the POs
Hazy - my team is hot. This team is hotter. Rolled through league play after week 1 and have been dominating tournaments.
PP - Favs to be in the big game

2) Washington Wolfpack (2)
Hazy - they're kinda on a roll too. Hard fought win over Lincoln today firmly establishes them as the 2nd best team.
PP - They've got to be hoping that they can buck recent PO history this ssn
Sik - Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself and the Wolfpack have a good postseason .

3) Green Bay Maulers (3)
Sik - USA Pro has been their focus all season
Hazy - the team to beat in the East. 11 straight wins and have looked dominant in doing so.
PP - Really want to face MEM or WW in the big game (not saying either is a lock, but would like to see if we could stop their run game). Unfortunately, would have to somehow claw through hell to get there.

4) Cincinnati Shockers (4.4)
Sik - Very impressive season. Nasty run D should come in handy in the POs.
Hazy - I know OTR beat them but I still think the Shockers are the better team.
PP - Think it's a toss up between them & GB for who the fav is to rep the East

5) Lincoln Navigators (5.2)
Sik - Dropped 3 of last 4. Pick up a dangerous Marauder team 1st round.
Hazy - 1-3 in their last four has this team limping into the playoffs. I wouldn't count them out though, nor would I want to be playing them.
PP - Hell of a team

6) Over The Rhine Red Dots (5.6)
Sik - 5 wins in a row including some very good teams. Match up with OFG in round 1.
Hazy - Showed some big time vulnerability against the pass against Rhode Island but as long as they are scoring 42 it won't really matter.
PP - Team that could make some serious noise

7) Las Vegas Gamblers (7)
Sik - Have literally been a whole other team the 2nd half the season. 8 wins in a row.
Hazy - I hate ranking my team this high, especially considering DDL beat us earlier in the season, but we've won 11 of 12 including 8 straight. I think that's worth a little something.
PP - Some may argue that this is too high, but I sure as hell don't want to play them again this ssn

8) Honolulu Hurricane Warriors (8)
Sik - Had been on fire after their new PBs, but Spicewood put it out week 16.
Hazy - every one thinks this team is back. I'm not so convinced. Their recent scrimmages have been underwhelming.
PP - They're a great team. I just don't think they match up well with the top in the West.

9) Detroit Demon Lions (8.8)
Sik - Lost 4 of last 5. Not the kind of form you want going into the postseason.
Hazy - Another team limping into the playoffs with 3 straight losses and 4 of their last 5, but they are so talented. I know I wouldn't want to play them in the play offs. Oh wait.
PP - Damn tough 1st round game

10) ***Official*** Footballguys (11.2)
Sik - Most dangerous 7th seed ever?
Hazy - best 9-7 team in GLB. Bar none.
PP - Hell of a team that has dug themselves out of a big hole.

11) Minnesota Marauders (11.4)
Sik - Disappointing loss to the Lightning, but they can win in any given dotball game.
Hazy - a 4-4 second half including a surprising loss to San Diego in week 16 has this team falling as low as they have in a while. I'm sure Lincoln's not happy to have to play them in the 1st round though.
PP - I wouldn't be thrilled with being matched up against them if I was on NAV

T-12) Chocolate City Cha Chings (12.6)
Sik - Have been a little inconsistent to say the least. They take on the Shockers.
Hazy - have rebounded nicely from a 4 game losing streak with 3 straight wins. Tough 1st round matchup with the Shockers.
PP - Very good team with a tough 1st round matchup.

T-12) Chicago Hedgehogs (12.6)
Sik - They've had trouble stopping the run, and they take on HHW. Still a very good team though.
Hazy - on a nice little run to end the season including wins over BSB and Spicewood. I think they can knock off HHW in round 1.
PP - Another team that has to be pleased with their 1st ssn

T-12) Spicewood Longhorns (12.6)
Sik - Dangerous team that will definitely have a chance to take out WW
Hazy - very nice win to end the season and impressive out of league. Unfortunately for them, their reward is the Wolfpack.
PP - They should be proud of what they pulled off thus far in their 1st ssn in pro ball.

15) Bourbon Street Bullies (14.6)
Sik - Speaking of dangerous...unfortunately for them they take on MEM
Hazy - they made the playoffs. That's the good news. The bad news is they'll be out after the 1st round.
PP - Good news, they made the POs. Bad news, look at their 1st round matchup

16) Carolina Hammer (16)
Sik - Their offense has been struggling as of late. It doesn't help they take on GBM first round.
Hazy - talk about backing your way into the playoffs. They have to play the team that just beat them by 40. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the playoff game will be much closer.
PP - They sure have some impressive Ws

17) Washington Bullets (17)
Sik - From champs to missing the playoffs...what happened?
Hazy - defending champs miss the playoffs. That's how tough USA Pro is.
PP - Tie breakers are a bitch

18) Columbus Woodys (18.4)
Sik - Very solid team just missing out.
PP - Their owner is right. They have every reason to be pleased with what they did this ssn.

19) San Diego Lightning (18.6)
Sik - Another new entrant with a pretty successful season. They are one step away form being a PO team

20) South Bay Spartans (20)

21) Compton Vikings (21.2)

22) Las Vegas Flyin' Elvis (21.8)
Sik - Have already played their last game in USA Pro. Sorry to see you guys go.
PP - I'll miss our games

23) Las Vegas Freebirds (23)
Sik - While 12th is not bad in the West, they'll be looking back at season 8 with disgust compared to their season 7 success.

24) Parma Burglars (24.2)
Sik - Seemed somewhat to be getting it together, but way too late.

25) Rhode Island Red Wolves (24.8)

26) Philadelphia Continentals (26)

27) Kalamazoo Coyotes (27.2)

28) Dallas Vaqueros (27.8)
Sik - Barely avoid relegation again, although they are much improved from last season.

Say goodbye to...

29) Columbus Bucks (29)
Sik - Not a bad team by any means. Maybe they'll have more success in AAA.

30) Gridiron Rage (30)
Sik - Sorry to see you guys gut. Good luck in the future.
PP - I'll miss these games also

31) Richmond Rebel Yell (31)
Sik - May be joining the WPL again (although once you are a member, it is for life).

32) Kentucky (32)
Sik - This should have happened last season.

The committee has spoken!

Our weakness IS on pass-D... not sure why more teams haven't tried to beat us through the air.

Our weakness has been playing with the Ai constantly trying to figure out what works and what doesn't with a fucked up sim. I think we will represent ourselves well tomorrow it should be fun to watch. If we can put everything together we are going to be dangerous, if not then we'll just blame chemistry.

Seriously, that's always a fantastic strategy.

I've actually been trying out different possession based passing plays with the Wolfpack because although I doubt 'power backs'/Strong I will be majorly nerfed next season, I am (at this point) expecting to see a stamina nerf and a bump in general run defense.

It's really not even worth trying things out for next season. Every season is it's own beast, you've really got to just spam what works and hope you spam better than the opponent this season.

powerbacks don't have to be nerfed... D-Play creator will take care of everything...

seriously.

At no point did I feel power backs themselves needed nerfing. Stamina nerf, perhaps. Otherwise, the bigger issue as has been mentioned numerous times (most expertly by Pain) is the offensive line's ability to dominate equal or better defensive lines.

God, the answer is so simple... it's sitting here in this post, but the dumbfucks reading and writing are assuming one too many things.

Nevertheless, I will expose the shittyness of this logic in just 7 more days.

We beat 11, 12 and got simmed against 8. Oh well, we'll make the playoffs next season, believe me.

Nice rankings guys.

And hazy, thx for the vote of confidence. I truly hope we pull off our 1/1000 chance upset.
