Round 1
Should be another fun playoff
#1 Bandar vs. #8 GUHC
Bandar is coming in hot as hell. Winning 14 straight is impressive especially with wins of ESL, Katanas, Manila, and Singapore. GUHC on the other hand is 1-4 in their past 5 and come in limping at best. Bandar won by 29 in their first meeting and I expect a very similar result again.
Final Score: Bandar 40, GUHC 10
Actual: Bandar 47, GUHC 17
#4 Garudas vs. #5 Manila
Typical 4-5 game that could easily go either way. In their first meeting the Garudas laid down the hammer with a 41-21 beat down. Both are coming in hot with Garudas barely losing to Bandar and Manila barely losing against Singapore. In the end I just can’t see LUN letting anyone beat him twice. I’m sure the Garudas will do their thing and keep it very close.
Final Score: Manila 31, Garudas 27
Actual: Manila 38, Garudas 21
#2 Singapore vs. #7 Katanas
You know you got yourself a tight league when the Katanas are ranked #7. In their first game the Marauders can out firing and put up 44 points in a 28 point beating. The most interesting part of this game is that it is the Katanas last run. We all know what they can do when they properly game plan. I see joey putting up a great game plan but I just don’t think it will be enough to slow down the Marauder’s offense.
Final Score: Singapore 38, Katanas 24
Actual: Singapore 45, Katanas 13
#3 ESL vs #6 Pa Dong
The most interesting game IMO just because of the names. ESL always put forth a Championship worthy team and are probably dying to get another cup. Pa Dong made a whole bunch of guarantees in the beginning of the year and this is their chance to prove themselves. Round 1 between these two teams went a 19 point victory to ESL. Both teams are game planning geniuses and I expect nothing less for this game.
Final Score: ESL 17, Pa Dong 14
Actual: ESL 30, Pa Dong 21
So expect the second round to have:
#1 Bandar playing #5 Manila
#2 Singapore playing #3 ESL
