For a new SS build, what are the advantages of immediately taking speed straight to 60? I was thinking about soft-capping speed (and then going to 60 only after soft-capping agility or vision), but I wanted to weigh out benefits/drawbacks first.

Advantages:
-Regardless of the system you play for, you will need to be fast either in Zone, Man, or in the box with run support. You will gain better naturally by taking it higher initially.

Disadvantages:
-You will suffer for the first part of your career performance wise.

Your call, if you want to be in the Pros one day, build smart. If you want to terrorize the Peewees, build for right now. I always recommend long term build plans to maximize growth and long term potential. Only my DE out of my slew of level 34's has anything invested in SAs because I want to get their skills to their final cap before I mess with any of it.

The quicker you take abilities to a high level, the more they will "auto" improve when you level up.

The best way to build is think ahead and raise SPD, AGI and VSN to the max value you want straight away (one at a time), be it 60 or 68. Then each time you level after that you are gaining more in terms of "how much SP that would have cost you".

I will go straight to 60, then. Thank you both for the advice.
