1. Monmouth Evil Monkeys V 3. Lincoln Navigators. The Monkeys did VERY BAD THINGS to the Lightning. Zonk had 7.7 per carry and 5 TDs, Drago threw for 497 and the D picked up 4 turnovers.

The Navs ran into the revitalized Hurricanes at the wrong time and dropped their first game of the season. The usually awesome Lincoln ground game was shut down totally and their passing couldn't pick up the slack. The Lincoln ground Defense was ran over for 256 yards and they missed 24 tackles.

2. Washington Wolpack V 14. Dallas Vaqueros. The Wolfpack continue to try to show the league that their loss to Monmouth was a fluke. The Destroyed the Bucks in every phase in a game and they get their 2nd straight "bye" week with Dallas coming up.

Dallas put up no fight what so ever in getting embarrassed by Compton. Amazingly it looks like DV will avoid AAA yet again despite their awful showings of late.

4. HHW V 16. Richmond Rebel Yell. HHW IS BACK. Words no one in USA PRO West wanted to here. The Cannes used an amazing Defense effort mixed with their newly acquired power running attack to knock the Navs out of first place.

5. Bourbon Street Bullies V 7. Chicago Hedgehogs. The Bullies pulled out a big win over MM last time out. 3 Picks by their aggressive D were the keys to the win. They returned two of them for TD's, which they needed because their offense didn't do much to help the cause after their first drive.

The Hogs picked up a much needed W over Spicewood. The D picked off a pass and picked up 2 fumbles to give the ball to a well balanced offensive effort.

6. Minnesota Marauders V 15. Columbus Bucks

MM lost a rough one to BSB Bad throws killed them. Plain and simple their O isn't clicking at this time.

8. SDL V 10. Compton Vikings. The Lighting are in the process of erasing all mention of their last outing from the teams archives. The good news is they were up 7-0 . The bad news is they got outscored 93-6 the rest of the way.

Compton has found their offensive rhythm and they are lighting up the score board. A HUGE ground game from Stubbs and company and a nice helping of Tavaris Mixed in led to a blow out of Dallas.

9.Spicewood Longhorns V 13. Parma Burglars. Spicewood couldn't get their ground attack rolling and it cost them last time out. A few HUGE passing plays weren't enough in their loss.

Parma Shocked the Freebirds and the rest of USA PRO by pulling off a big upset. I think the biggest factor might have been LVF screwing up their 4th down settings and giving the Burglars GREAT field position all day long.

SBS wins 28-27

Sure. I took one for the team but only because I am on one of the top 4 teams in the West and I feel we can compete with just about anyone. If I were on perhaps a dozen other teams playing angainst a top contender I probably wouldn't go into it with so much confidence.
