What is more important for a DE?

both

id say agility for LE and Speed for RE but in general they both are very important

both cant be MORE important
but ill assume that you mean both are of equal importance

i will say Speed is the most important

I have 2 guys and one has 90/58 and the other has 58/90 Speed/agi. The one with more speed does much better and always beats the other one to the QB.

Speed Hands down.... I have been testing this for the past two seasons.

What i meant by both is that without the other, they are each (almost) useless

Speed. I have high agility and the other DE on the team has high speed. Like someone said above the speed guy gets to the QB quicker.

ya I have to say speed also, my first DE had a lot of agility and he has not been the best DE at all. this year I have focused on speed changed my custom on him now he is 80/80 and doing better I think. most of his stats are from playing lower level teams though.

Well let's see my agility DE has 3 tackles, and 1 sack (albeit he's punt returning and playing outmatched in the league most of the time). My speed DE, well he's not having as much trouble in even matchups.
