what would be ideal?

SA? power thru, lower shoulder, stiff arm?
%? break tackles chance ...
attribute? strength/carrying/speed

I don't think getting a piece of AE with an SA that you can't upgrade is a good idea. You can get it up to 3 which won't do much. If your going with a strength WR, I would guess % break tackle with speed or strength but the att isn't as important.

i got a Power Thru and have it up to 3, with str 46, and have yet to break a tackle with it, but then again this season we've gone heavily run so he's only getting a couple touches a game. but i'm going to start rolling for another piece that's actually a WR piece. if you have even higher str it might work better.

WRs just don't break tackles

my WR has 83 str, 5 bruiser, 6 lower the shoulder and doesn't break any
he's in a league too high for him this season, but most high level CBs dont have high str/tackle
so he still should break a few. Last season in a lower league he did better but most of his big plays and broken tackles were against the gutted/cpu teams. It would be nice if this type of build could work, but it doesnt. The speed WR is the only good build.

That is a pretty crazy build. Its nice to see a build that doesn't have everything pumped into speed.

You would think this build would be effective, maybe in the future Bort will make changes to the game that will make your guy effective.

Sure, of course they don't: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=377428&pbp_id=12819497

Your WR needs more VAs and more speed, but apart from that he WILL come good. That is, if your OC is calling the right plays to take advantage of him.

hey vando, what changed for your WR to go from 1-4 broken tackles a season to 34 this season?

Also, lower the shoulder worked for my WR for the first time today.

VAs changed, Bruiser and YAC Attack = tackles broken everywhere. Also the team tactics have to be tuned for it.
