Wondering... has there been any alterations to the effect that Hurries can have on the Offence?

Had a weird experience with them today...new to me anyhow...is it possible that they were stealth un-nerfed a bit?

I had 22 one game. That beat two of my totals in seasons.

i had more hurries than normal lately with my DT - 4 last game that resulted in 2 deflections, one bad pass & one drop

yeah...but it's not so much that eric stratton rush chairman got 12 of them (i suspect he got so many since the game went into "cruise control" early and he slowed right down...)

it's that lots of positive things seemed to happen when he hurried the QB...it's only been 1 game that i've noticed though...and it was a weaker opponent. so i was wondering if anyone else had noticed anything.

likely it's because it was a weaker opponent... but that seems like lots of INTs when a hurry happens.

anyone have insights on turning those hurries into sacks for my DT? need more agility, strength, or speed?

thing is it costs me 4 sp for 1 point of agility, but i could raise my speed or strength for 2 sps. Which way should i go??

If we're talking about DTs, you're going to have more hurries than sacks regardless. Crazy high speed isn't going to change that.

I missed the part where he said DT. I agree with you in general, however, if he's already getting a bunch of hurries and wants to "turn those hurries into sacks" speed is his best bet to do that (even if it will only convert a few of them) if he just wanted to get better penetration into the backfield (resulting in more hurries and possibly more sacks) then he should look to add strength, agility, and SAs. Honestly, though I find it hard for a DT to justify not getting the majority of his key stats to at least the 68 cap given that there are so few key stats to focus on.

To me, it seems like the "result" of a hurry is dependent on the confidence and poise of a QB. Its most likely that the QB you played had lower than normal confidence which cause the "panic induced" INTs. Thats just my opinion though, i have no evidence to back it up.
