This WR doesn't exist...yet...

I'm just asking a hypothetical question for you all...

Strength: 48
Speed: 120
Agility: 68
Catching: 48
Jumping: 48
Stamina : 48

10 in First Step in Quick Cut

You can assume a 30 in other stats and a 2 or 3 in other SAs

EDIT: Concerning Equipment, all his points are in speed (which is why it is so high). His VA are 15 in Track Star and 5 and 5 in Quick

To be honest that's a pointless hypothetical question as that build would take far too long to achieve to even consider signing now. A WR wouldn't be able to achieve that build until at least their 9th season.

flames54's WR is probably the closest to that build in GLB but he's not even that close to it and he's level 50 in his 8th season.

Actually I think my WR will get there by lvl 37

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=980920

I need about 30 SP to get his quick cut and first step to 10 (The next two levels cost too much imo, 8+1 is better than 10+1 if I can spend the skill points in better ways.), then another 45 to cap catching jumping and stamina, assuming I don't put points into them until they are at 33 from training. For Strength to 48 I'd have to wait until he is at lvl 40 for another 15 SP.

What about getting speed to 120 and agility to 68? That'll take a considerable amount of SP even with all the extra points you'll get from equipment.

my HB has 110 speed, and 74 agility at lvl 35, so it's possible.

It's possible, but as I said above it would take ages to achieve. For your HB to have a build similar to the OP's plan you still need to soft cap 4 other attributes and get 2 SAs to 10. Your HB is in his 6th season and at this point will only level up 5-6 times per season and with intense training all season and off season he'll only get about 35 SP max each season. I don't know the rest of your HBs build but I'd guess it'll take quite a few seasons to achieve the build plan.

Maybe speed will be more like 112-115 depending on what kind of AEQ I can find.

That 120 and 68 include the VA bonuses?

You need to figure soft capped jumping, vision, 40+ stamina, carrying and confidence. Anything less and you'll kick yourself over your catching %. There is a fine line to being an asset and a liability as a speed WR. When your a liability, you are best served on the bench.

Why do you need to soft cap jumping if you are outrunning everyone? I say 35 or so in jumping is fine for a while until you get around to it.

I can show you plenty of replays where a low level 68 speed CB keeps up with a WR with 40 more speed than the CB. You aren't going to outrun people as easily as you think . You aren't going to out jump anyone, it is needed to help with catching and to adjust to the ball. You'll have a mediocre catching percentage if it is low. Even Flames softcaped his jumping.

Doesn't work like that. You are very rarely just going to run right past the defense for a TD. Jumping and vision will need to be softcapped at the very least. And with only softcapped catching he would still probably struggle to catch more than like 40% of his targets. Mob-6 is right, that WR would be best used warming up seats on the bench.

I would switch strength out for vision, and then you've got an awesome build plan imo.
